  • THE PINK ORBIT 𖦹 BACK TO SELF Ā· NO. 01
The space in between who you are and who you are becoming...

I have always had a feeling that there was more to life than the life I could see in front of me. Not necessarily something bigger or better, but something that felt more like mine. A life with room for all the different things I wanted to explore, all the versions of myself I had yet to meet, and all the little dreams that never seemed to disappear, no matter how much time passed or how often I convinced myself to be sensible.

For a long time, I did not know what to do with that feeling. I would go about my days, do what needed to be done, make plans, think about the future, and then find myself somewhere in the middle of an ordinary afternoon wondering whether I was actually creating the life I wanted or simply getting better at living the one I had fallen into. It was never as simple as being unhappy. I could appreciate what I had and still feel curious about what else was possible. I could be proud of how far I had come and still have moments when I felt as though I had somehow left a part of myself behind.

The strange little distance between the person you are and the person you can almost imagine becoming. Close enough to recognise her, but not quite close enough to know how to reach her.

I think I have spent much of my life trying to understand that distance.

I was born in Romania, lived in Italy, and eventually found myself in England. There are parts of me that belong to each place, memories and ways of seeing the world that I carry without always realising it. Moving between places has made me think about what it means to build a life somewhere, what we take with us when we leave, and how much of who we are is shaped by the places we have called home. Sometimes I think you can move across countries and still spend years trying to find a place within yourself that feels familiar.

I have always been someone with a mind that wanders. I collect ideas, become fascinated by something new, fill pages with thoughts, imagine different possibilities, and find meaning in things other people might pass without noticing. A sentence in a book can stay with me for days. A conversation can send me into a spiral of questions. The moon, an unfamiliar feeling, a change in the seasons, a dream I have not thought about in years, sometimes the smallest things seem to open a door in my mind, and I find myself wanting to understand what is on the other side.

I love writing because it gives those thoughts somewhere to go. I love journalling because there is something honest about sitting with a blank page when you do not yet know what you think. I love astrology and the symbolism of the Universe because they invite me to look at life from another perspective, to be curious about timing, patterns and the things we cannot always explain. I love creativity because it allows an idea to become something tangible, something that exists outside the imagination that first held it.

And I love the possibility of becoming many things in one lifetime.

That last part has not always been easy. There is a certain comfort in knowing exactly who you are supposed to be. It makes decisions feel simpler. You choose a direction, follow it, and measure your progress against something you can understand. But what happens when you have several directions pulling at you? When the sensible part of you wants security, while another part wants to experiment, create, take a chance and discover what might happen if you stopped waiting until you felt completely ready?

I have found myself caught between those feelings more than once. Wanting to make something of my ideas, but wondering whether I had enough time. Wanting to explore different sides of myself, but questioning whether I should be concentrating on one thing. Wanting to change something in my life, but wishing someone could tell me that the change would lead somewhere worthwhile. I sometimes think we spend so much of our lives waiting for certainty that we forget how much of being alive happens without it. We want to know that a decision will work before we make it, that a dream is realistic before we give it our attention, that we are ready before we allow ourselves to begin. Meanwhile, the days keep passing, and the parts of us that want to be explored quietly wait for their turn.

I do not say this as someone who has worked everything out. I still have days when I question my direction, when I have too many ideas and not enough clarity, when I want to change everything and then feel overwhelmed by the thought of beginning. I am still learning how to make room for the things that matter to me without expecting myself to transform my entire life overnight. I am still learning that uncertainty does not always mean I am lost. Sometimes it simply means that I have reached a part of the journey I have not experienced before.

And perhaps that is where this story really begins.

The Pink Orbit was not born from having all the answers. It began because I wanted somewhere to put the questions.

I wanted a place for the thoughts that did not fit into an Instagram caption, for the things I wrote in my journal and returned to days later, for the feelings that were difficult to explain without giving them a little more space. I wanted to write about life while I was living it, rather than waiting until I could look back and turn everything into a neat lesson. I wanted to explore womanhood, identity, change, creativity, spirituality, the Universe and the quiet experience of becoming someone new while trying not to lose the person I already was.

There was something about the internet that I loved, even as I sometimes struggled to find the kind of space I was looking for. I missed the feeling of discovering a little corner of the world that belonged to someone. A place where you could read for a while, follow a thought, find a new perspective and feel as though you had stumbled upon something personal. Not everything needed to be immediate. Not everything needed to be reduced to a few seconds or made perfectly understandable to everyone who came across it. I wanted to make something that felt like opening a letter. Something you could read with your coffee, return to late at night, save because a sentence stayed with you, or simply enjoy because it reminded you that other people were also trying to make sense of their lives.

At first, I kept returning to the idea of an orbit. It felt like a quiet description of the way we move through life. We circle around people, places, ambitions, relationships and expectations. We are drawn towards certain things and away from others. We have seasons when we feel connected to ourselves and seasons when we become so occupied with everything around us that we barely notice how far we have drifted. And yet, there are things we keep coming back to. A childhood dream. A creative interest. A feeling we have tried to ignore. A version of ourselves we thought we had outgrown, only to discover that she was waiting for us to make room for her again. Sometimes we return to these things because we have changed. Sometimes we return because, after everything we have experienced, we finally understand why they mattered to us in the first place.

That was the feeling I wanted The Pink Orbit to hold. The idea that we can wander, grow, change direction and explore the world without losing the possibility of returning to ourselves. Not to become exactly who we used to be, but to recognise what remains meaningful as we continue to change.

Back to Self became the heart of that idea. It was never meant to suggest that there is one perfect version of ourselves waiting somewhere in the distance, or that we must complete some grand journey before we are allowed to feel whole. For me, it is about the smaller moments of recognition. The times when you realise that you have been living according to someone else's expectations. The moment you remember something you used to love. The decision to make time for a part of yourself you have neglected. The quiet understanding that you are allowed to want something different from what you wanted a year ago.

The words that came to represent it were these: there is a space between who you are and who you are becoming.

I have shared a little video for you, so you can get a feel for what The Pink Orbit means to me, the person behind the words, and the world I am slowly bringing to life. If you would like to see it and get a little closer to the heart of this space, the video is available to paid members.

    A little closer ā™”

There is a space between who you are and who you are becoming.

I have never thought of that space as something to rush through. It can be uncomfortable, certainly. It can hold doubt, disappointment, impatience and the fear of making the wrong decision. But it can also hold curiosity, possibility and the freedom to discover that your life does not have to follow a perfectly straight line. It is a place where you can be unfinished without being inadequate, where you can change your mind without treating your past self as a mistake, where you can begin something new without needing to know exactly what it will become.

I think I needed that reminder myself. Perhaps I still do.

As The Pink Orbit began to take shape, I realised that I did not want it to be limited to one subject or one part of my personality. My interests have never existed in separate little boxes. The way I think about life is connected to the things I read, the questions I ask, the rituals I create, the way I experience womanhood, my curiosity about astrology, and the desire to make something beautiful out of ordinary experiences. I wanted the space I was building to reflect that. Some days, that might mean writing a personal letter about change or the strange feeling of outgrowing a life you once wanted. Other days, it might mean exploring the symbolism of a new moon, creating journal prompts, sharing a reflection inspired by something I have read, or putting together a collection of images and words that capture a feeling I cannot quite explain. I began to imagine different rooms within the same little world. Back to Self would hold the letters and personal writing. Inner Orbit would be a place for journalling, rituals and practices that invite us to pay attention to our inner lives. The Cosmic Edit would explore astrology, lunar cycles and the ways we use the cosmos to reflect on our own experiences. And The Sanctuary would bring these worlds together, allowing me to share longer letters, voice notes, creative editions and little pieces of the process behind what I make.

I like the thought that there is room here for different versions of the same woman. The one who wants to sit quietly with a journal. The one who wants to understand the stars. The one who wants to make something beautiful, ask difficult questions, laugh at herself, change her mind, or spend an evening dreaming about the future. We do not have to choose one identity and leave the rest of ourselves outside the door. I also know that building something of your own requires more than imagining what it could become. It requires showing up, making things, learning, changing your mind and continuing even when the response is quieter than you hoped. There is a vulnerable side to creating something personal and allowing other people to see it. You are not only sharing the finished work; you are sharing a little of your taste, your perspective, your hopes and the things that matter to you.

That is part of why I wanted this space to exist beyond the faster, noisier corners of social media. I want room for the longer version of a thought. Room for the pictures that tell a story, the details behind an idea, the things I am learning along the way and the projects that might grow into something I cannot yet imagine. I want to be able to create without feeling that every piece needs to be reduced to a performance or a perfectly packaged conclusion. And I want the women who find their way here to feel that they are entering a world, not simply subscribing to a page. Perhaps you are here because you love writing. Perhaps you are curious about astrology, or you enjoy journalling, or you are drawn to the idea of making your life feel more intentional. Perhaps you are in a season when everything seems to be changing, or perhaps nothing dramatic is happening at all and you simply want a little corner of the internet that feels different from the rest. Whatever brought you here, I hope there is something in this world that feels familiar to you.

I cannot promise that I will always have the right words. I cannot promise that every thought will arrive with a lesson or that every chapter of my life will make sense while I am living it. What I can offer is a space that grows with me, a place for honest writing, curiosity, creativity and the small discoveries that make a life feel more personal. I want to share what I create, what I learn, what I question and what I am still trying to understand. Because I am not building The Pink Orbit from the other side of becoming. I am building it from right here, in the middle of my own life, with all the uncertainty and possibility that comes with it.

And that is what I want to remember most as this little world grows: I do not have to wait until I become someone else to begin creating the things that matter to me. Neither do you.

So, this is where I will leave the first page. Not with a grand conclusion, because there is no conclusion yet, but with an invitation to stay a little while. To read, to explore, to share your own thoughts if you feel like it, and to let this space become something we return to as we move through our different seasons. I am still discovering what The Pink Orbit will become. In a way, I hope I always am. I want it to have room to change, just as I want my own life to have room to change. I want to look back one day and recognise the beginnings in these pages: the first ideas, the early letters, the things I was brave enough to share before I knew where they would lead.

For now, that is enough. A little world, a blank page, and the willingness to begin.

There is a space between who you are and who you are becoming.

    Welcome to mine.

  • Week 2 | Orbit back to self | Introduction to the Artist Way

    Living in Orbit 🌿

Last week, we practiced being here.

Not fixing. Not rushing. Just arriving.

    This week… we listen.

    Not to productivity.

    Not to the noise.

But to the quiet creative voice that learned to stay silent to survive.

Week 2 is inspired by The Artist’s Way not as a task list, but as a permission slip.

    To write without knowing why.

To sit with resistance without judging it.

To create space instead of forcing results.

    I’m doing this with you.

    Some days I feel inspired.

Some days I don’t want to show up at all.

    And that’s part of it.

You don’t have to do this perfectly.

You don’t have to do it every day.

You just have to come back when you remember.

    ✨ This week’s gentle actions:

    • Morning pages (1–3 pages, no rules)
    • 2 minutes a day of creative stillness
    • No fixing, no rereading, no pressure

    Creativity doesn’t respond to force.

    It responds to safety.

If you’re here on Day 8, Day 10, or just watching quietly you belong.

Tell me: what did slowing down bring up for you?

    We’re orbiting back to ourselves.

One breath. One page. One day at a time.

  • Week 1 | Orbiting back to self

Stay till the end for a little book spoiler šŸ“–āœØ

Before the next videos, here’s one small action you can do:

pause, breathe, and notice where you are — even while drinking a glass of water.

This first week wasn’t about changing your life.

    It was about being present.

About orbiting back to ourselves, one moment at a time.

✨ Congratulations — you made it.

And if you’re on Day 1, Day 4, or Day 7… you still made it.

    Slowing down matters.

šŸ‘‡ I’d love to hear from you in the comments:

    • What did you notice during these 7 days of presence?

    • What felt hard?

    • Did you skip some days? (It’s normal — you’re not alone.)

    • What book ideas or topics would you love next?

    This isn’t a challenge.

    It’s a return.

Thank you for being here. šŸŒ™

  • Day 1 | Orbiting back to self

    Yesterday was about arriving.

    Today is about releasing urgency.

Most of us live as if time is chasing us.

As if we’re already late to our own lives.

    Late to healing.

    Late to love.

    Late to success.

Late to becoming who we’re ā€˜supposed’ to be.

But let me say something gently — and honestly:

Time was never meant to pressure you.

It was meant to hold you.

The clock you live by — the deadlines, the milestones, the timelines — those are human inventions.

    Useful sometimes.

But dangerous when they become your inner voice.

Because when the clock becomes your guide, everything feels rushed.

And when everything feels rushed, you abandon yourself.

You stop listening to your body.

You stop listening to your intuition.

You stop trusting your own pace.

And then you wonder why nothing feels aligned.

Today, we’re not trying to manage time better.

We’re learning how to relate to it differently.

    You don’t need more hours.

You need permission to move at your rhythm.

And yes — that rhythm will change.

    Some seasons you’ll move fast.

    Some seasons you’ll move slowly.

    Neither is wrong.

    Nature doesn’t rush.

    Yet everything unfolds.

    ma una preparazione?
