Shad Ireland was the first ever Ironman professional Athlete to ever complete a triathlon on dialysis. He is from St. Paul, MN and is a great inspiration to many. He could barely walk for more than 30 seconds on the treadmill and ran 26.2 miles. He never swam more than a mile and swam 2.4. He never biked a century and biked 112. People said he was crazy, and what he wanted to do was impossible. But when Shad sees the word IMPOSSIBLE he sees I’M POSSIBLE.
