Welcome back to The Backside Poddy! This week we are very fortunate to be joined by Michael Hepburn, who very recently announced is retirement from the World Tour, we cover so much in this episode about the wonderful career he had! The great memories has, how fast the peloton has gotten over his career due to a number of factors, one being the change he saw pre and post covid! We quiz him on his development as a junior and U23 rider, and how Muzz was truely the main reason he chose cycling as a sport!

With nationals coming up this weekend he gives us some good insights into his predictions and how he would tackle the course.

This week on The Backside Poddy, we wrap up the year that was, and we have a debrief from our first commentary experience at Muzz Champ of Champs where Friebs and Johnny channeled their inner keeno and provided great entertainment for everyone at a great event put on by Balmoral Cycling Club. There was an onslaught on the mountain this week by the Cobra 9 crew and we go through all the stats from that!

This week on The Backside Poddy we celebrate the Lions AFL Grand final victory, we run through the Gran Fondo Worlds program and parcours. The latest elite world champions have been crowned and what a show Rawanda put on, proving to be one of the hardest world champs in recent history, with some good success for Australia and our juniors also shone brightly on the world stage! Friebes shopping cart is finally back and he's going to make a lot of people happy with this purchase.
