Daniel is a 5x Highland Games world champion, a 6x U.S.national champion, a 2x world caber champion, a 2x world team champion, AND currently holds a world record in both the light, and heavy hammers! On top of all that Daniel is a husband and a father to 5 kids! You'll hear Daniel and I focus a lot today on how he was able to balance being a family man, and such a high caliber athlete. You'll also hear us discussing his upbringing, time in university, and the important role that his faith has played in his life.

He went on to squat 1000 pounds in competition and is an accomplished Elite Lifter with a 2,375 pound total. These days you can find Jim spending time with family, and being the strength coach to a local high school  football team. Jim is the author of the 5/3/1 training program. It has been used by millions of people, and is in my opinion one of the best modern strength programs there is. Sitting down with Jim was quite honestly a big moment for me. Ive been a fan of Jim and his no BS approach to life and lifting for as long as Ive been interested in strength.
