The Barracks Party

We are back y'all! We hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed the deer season for you Midwest hunters! But down to business.

This may be the most important episode we've ever done, as the podcast welcomes our guest Faraz aka Falcon141 to the show. He sheds light on how government bodies are treating veterans who use legal forms of cannabis to treat mental health struggles between bogus possession charges, police harassment, unconstitutional search & seizure and abuse of controversial red flag laws.

Faraz shares his story about immigrating to the US from Venezuela with his family in the hopes of chasing the American dream. After serving in the Army with deployments to Iraq, he pursued a career in law enforcement. After experiencing first-hand how some departments will bend the parameters of the law, he decides to leave that career to pursue other options. Only to find himself victim of harassment and corruption within our justice system towards the veteran community.

This is an eye-opening story, and a cautionary tale for those of us in the veteran community who have few options regarding the treatment of our mental and physical well being, and the options we have, in some places, are being weaponized against us. Strap in, grab your Gfuel, and don't forget to like and subscribe to the channel!

Been a month since we've seen your lovely faces, but we are back. Brock is back from Norway and there's a lot to catch up on!

Mike Busey's Veteran's Day party happened over the weekend And if you've never heard of this party...... it'll BLOW your mind. Free haircuts for vets, free food, music, strippers, and well..... blowies. What a way to thank us for our service, eh?

A soldier was arrested after a "serial killer" kit was found outside of a woman's home. He also told his parents he wanted to be a serial killer. Dude is from Wisconsin, so I'm not surprised.

A sailor says the Navy can't do anything about her being a stripper in her off time. Dare I say, I think they can.

Army General made a controversial statement last month saying moldy barracks are a "discipline problem". We dive into this statement to see if it was out of context. But alas, out of touch brass likes to make dumb statements.

The Army suddenly told hundreds of noncommissioned officers that they had to leave for recruiter school with less than week's notice. And after will have to PCS to their recruiting station. Green Weenie strikes hard once again!

These and more in this week's smoke pit podcast! Have a good weekend y'all!

The two of us are back again with some more fart jokes and weir conspiracy theories within our military and gaming news! Get your coffee and Tinfoil hats kids! We got missing aircrafts, drug deals and mortar mishaps this week!

An F-35 went missing last weekend after the pilot ejected and left it on autopilot. The aircraft was found the next day, but we have the very weird 9-11 call from the pilot and the homeowner where he landed

Two soldiers were arrested for possession of steroids with intent to distribute, as well as a ton of firearms and "explosives" (they were mortar simulators). Someone either pissed off a customer, or sold some Tren to CID.

Army CAG (Delta) operator who was tied to the murder of another soldier, found himself a victim of murder. The suspect isn't saying any motive, but investigators say it's tied to a possible cocaine ring. Cue the tinfoil hats!!

Unity found themselves in some drama these passed few weeks after setting a new policy where game developers using their engine would need to start paying Unity for every game download. After massive backlash, Unity pulled the old trusty "we changed our minds and are sorry" by rolling back those plans

A Marine Corps drill instructor is accused of inappropriate conduct towards female recruits including peeping in on them in the porta-johns and other inappropriate actions.

These and more in this week's smoke pit podcast! Have a good weekend y'all!

It's just the two of us today on the Smoke Pit, but all we need is each other! *insert heart emoji because YouTube won't let you use emotes or angle brackets*

The shortest marine in history recently graduated boot camp. Standing at a towering 4'7", this dude defied the odds and earned his eagle, globe and anchor and achieved his lifelong goal of earning the title of Marine! Semper Fi little dude.

Former Navy SEAL Rob O'Neil was arrested for public intoxication, spouting racial slurs at and assault on a security officer at a hotel a couple weeks ago. You may know Rob as he is the SEAL who claims to have been the man who shot Osama Bin Laden and has been on many shows and even wrote a book. (Which SEAL HASN"T written a book?). O'Neil denies saying any racist remarks, but this isn't his first run-in with the law over an alcohol related incident. SEALs, gotta love em........

7st ID out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington is facing some scrutiny over flying AH-64 Apaches over a division run to simulate "hurricane force winds" on the runners for morale. A very officer idea if i've ever seen one. Some reports of damage to property and vehicles as a result of this stunt.

These and more this week on the Smoke Pit

Prompting many conversations within the military community. We have an update on the soldier who jumped the North Korean border, as officials from NK say he came seeking refuge over racism in the army. Who's gonna tell him how they are in NK?? Former soldier stole a humvee and rammed it into the post HQ building on Fort Stewart. HOW DID HE GET THE KEYS??? In Gaming, Treyarch developer David Vonderhaar leaves the company after 19 years and is moving onto a "secret project" with another company. Could it be Midnight Society?
