Is it better to be a hopeless romantic, spiraling-when-you're-alone type?--or the type of dude who can hang out with himself in solitude all the time and be fine with it? Are both extreme behaviors? Let's peel back the layers...

Here is an excerpt of me reading one of the better books I've read in recent times. Written by prominent tennis star of the 1990s, Andre Agassi, 'Open' explores what it feels like to win big.....and to lose big, in exhaustively intense detail.

I've been stuck mostly digging snow when I'm not at work and it's all due to the recent "Snowmageddon" that shocked it's way through the Midwest, South, and East Coast of the United States. This storm left southern Illinois with at least 1' of snow, and this episode records the aftermath the next day after the main wave. Also, some readings from 'Winning' by Tim Grover about harnessing your dark side and your "darker" side.

On this episode I read excerpts from 'Eat That Frog: 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time' by Brian Tracy. It's not a particularly easy or fast-flowing read--but that's why you should just let me read some of it for you! I'll "eat the frog" for the both of us!.....

It seems like the list of things you're not supposed to like, or admit that you like in public, keeps growing and growing in recent years. Jake Paul, country music, UFC, the state of Missouri, Taylor Swift, Joe Rogan podcast.... Is it woke culture? Social inference? Tribalism? I offer my reflections on this strange phenomenon, but I recommend sticking around until the end for the rather eye-opening Chat GPT response. Leave a comment--What's something that you like that you feel like you're not supposed to like socially?
