DJ GABE (Gifted At Being Entertaining) is a veteran dj, broadcaster and freelance journalist based in London. in this episode, we reflect on Ghana/Nigeria DJ culture, the rise and influence of Afrobeats globally and artists relationship with djs. Born Gabriel Rinu, DJ Gabe is one of the most influential voices in the Nigerian DJ community in the UK. His unique style of blending Afrobeats with ‘old school’ funk and HipHop sets him apart from his peers. On the mic or on the decks, he’s simply a senior advocate of the Afrobeats genre.
