Our newest offering for your listening pleasure is an episode that explores The Offertory Sentences and what they tell us about the whole idea of The Eucharist: what we are doing, what we are asked to do, and how all these things coalesce in worship.

In this Episode Fathers Tyler and Joshua begin their exploration and exposition of The Holy Eucharist, the principle act of Worship in The Episcopal Church. The Episode begins with the Salutation and continues to The Peace.

Fr. Tyler, having stumbled upon some subtleties in the rubrics, joins Fr. Joshua in a discussion of the value of this service as a stand-alone service, and about the ongoing revelation of the mercy and grace of God towards us.

Join the Fathers as they discuss the beginnings of The Eucharist and especially the Exhortation, the great preamble to the celebration of The Holy Eucharist that exhorts us to prepare ourselves before coming to the table of The Lord.

Fathers Tyler and Joshua finish up the discussion of Holy Baptism including Chrism, the actual Baptism itself, and a discussion about how Baptism is simply the beginning of a longer journey lived out in Christ.

Join Fr. Tyler and Fr. Joshua for the second part of the discussion around Holy Baptism. The discussion in this episode surrounds the prayers for the candidates through the Thanksgiving over the Water.
