This week, Maria is back in the midst of moving and Brittany talks about this new book she’s reading called Leverage Your Mindset by Ricky Kalmon. A book about how to practice intentional relaxation/how to also relax our physical and mental selves. Also a lot of discussions about what transpired when we hung out in person this week (including topics such as true crime, Truman Capote, and concussions?).

This week, Brittany goes solo as Maria takes a week off to move, but no fret - Brittany brought in a guest (and also Editor Maria makes a guest appearance in the middle)! Everyone meet Dara Evans, a literature professor and an avid yoga enthusiast. Brittany and Dara dive deep into the way they have connected throughout the years; the way they have grown utilizing yoga, mantras, and affirmations; and the way Dara lives with celiac disease. This week, Maria goes to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn to see a Nets game (Nets in 5!) and gives us all a glimpse of being out in crowded areas during a pandemic. Spoiler alert: it was nerve racking. Also, we get into a slightly heated conversation regarding the vaccine and the effects of the pandemic on the younger generation.
