In our second segment of being real with, we get real with our babe Hails on how it was like having her first child during the pandemic. 

Now that we have the freedom (ish) to speak about what that was like, it’s really time to start seeing how the effects of these lockdowns and restrictions really affected people. Like new families like Hails & Nic.

What was it like being pregnant in the medical system at that time?

What was it like as new parents not to be able to do certain things or have certain traditions?

Next up in our series - Cults or Nah? We take on the f*cked up world of NXIVM. 

Just like Scientology, this group really focused on self development and the need to keep learning, training and continually fund the “group”. The difference with this one was the focused on sex and the secrecy of inside groups like DOS. 

What started out for most as a beacon of light in their lowest, saddest times, turned into modern day sex slavery with a side of actual branding. I think the biggest difference on this one was how well it had hid itself as a bad group since they were even able to get the Dalai Lama to come visit. On the outside, this just seemed like a very empowering group of people. 

It attracted very smart and talented humans like Alison Mack. It turned very dark very quickly to the point now where everyone (not all though!) have been accused and the leader, Keith Raniere rots in prison. As he should. 

This is what happens when people have god like complexes and an ability to manipulate masses. With surrounding themselves in echo chambers, and removing all those who oppose, this is very dangerous. Kinda like the last few years…. If you get my drift 😏 

Kinda like the leaders of the “free world”…. But this is just OUR opinions of OUR data collection thus far! We encourage YOU to look at this stuff yourself and decide… cult or NAH?!

Such a fun episode where we go back in time and age ourselves by talking about how blessed we are to have been the last generation without social media in our teenaged life. We truly do feel for kids these days. 

Being a teenager is hard enough. 

Being online at all is hard. 

Combine those two… shit has got to be hard for them. 

This is why we think it’s now so social responsibility to the younger gens for us to be mindful of the impact we are having. It’s fair to say that mental Illness, body dysmorphia, drug addiction and the comparison game is running rampant.

 Is this a direct side effect from online influence? Being stuck in a fake reality online? 

People have truly lost touch with what’s real and what’s digital. 

Crazy time kids!! But hey; it made for a super sun episode that’s for sure!!

How do we even begin to talk about this epic journey and milestone?! 

In this episode we celebrate hitting a huge milestone of 100 episodes launched!! 

I’ve been hesitating to write this episode description because I don’t know that any word can fully encompass the gratitude we feel for all of this and all of you. 

What started out as a fun hobby to channel some energy and thoughts at a very dark time, turned into a bright source of light with inspirational beings, honest talks and massive growth from hosts to guests to listeners. 

It’s been an absolutely amazing first 100 episodes and it feels like just the beginning but also like we’ve been doing this our whole lives.
