2 who profits from this?

3 are they really doing us good?

And I mean the list goes one but I guess that’s the point of the show!

We do not claim to be experts or know what the fuck is going on but we wanna know…w.t.f.

&& the only way we know how to do that is to talk about it!!

This is just the beginning of us digging deeper into these establishments. Cuz it seems to get wilder the deeper you go!

As most things, we find it all comes back to money. & this new idea of fixing everything right now despite any risks or consequences.

Natural healing is honest work.

It’s also a process of wins and losses on the journey to find what’s best for your unique self!

It’s bringing us back to centre. To balance. To nature and earth. Very powerful gifts right outside our back door.

HAPPY ONE YEAR BABES!! Wow. One whole year of being a podcast! 🎉 where do we even start?! How can we even come up with the words to thank you guys for the love & support! Between our listeners and our guests, we truly couldn’t be more thankful for each and everyone of you. You have changed our lives in ways we cannot even express. We chat about what the last year was like, how we came to be, what the last 2 seasons have been about and celebrating our 3rd season heading into Year 2! We are so excited for the future & hope we can keep connecting our community ♥️ Again guys, we cannot thank you enough!

Our last episode on the affects of lockdowns, mandates & restrictions is all about small business. Another industry completed slammed around from restrictions that just don’t make sense. All small business owners did all the things they were asked. They opened half capacity, shut down on a moments notice, had to come up with C-19 safety plans that met the gov standards, had to force segregation with passports or required patrons to mask up even if it’s proven to be ineffective. In each province it was different. Making it very difficult for business owners to keep up. Not only that, the public was very vocal on how they feel businesses should have been run. We can’t say what’s good or bad for another persons life work. To ask someone who put their heart, blood and soul into their business to turn anyone away, hurts everyone. Although safety is very important, we feel it should have been left up to the business owners on how to proceed with their own dang business. We are adults. We can pick and choose where we do business based on how they set it up and our own comfort level. Luckily we are ending this time, hopefully, and all business across Canada can go back to serving their people without worry about “breaking the rules” or being reported or any backlash from differing opinions. Let’s make Canada a place where we are all proud to be apart of. And that starts with lifting all mandates for all Canadians can make a living and spend it as they choose 🇨🇦

The Health Care system has been one of the most watched industries during this pandemic

From what the officials and the news says, the hospitals are overwhelmed and we, as a society, are the reason to blame.

Now while there is some truth to that, personal responsibility is VERY important, there’s a lot to be said of HOW this time was handled and how words have been used to mislead humans to thinking all people are dangerous, terrible, dirty beings.

This has done a number on peoples mental health. Of course we want to help the system. Of course we are beyond grateful for medical practitioners and support staff. But is the every day John Doe really to blame here for the state of the system?

We brought on 3 amazing babes to share their experiences in Health Care & to shed some light on what the legacy media won’t.

From a HC worker to a psychiatric nurse to a paramedic in Canada, you will hear directly from those heavily affected by these unlawful mandates. The ones who were (and are to us!) Heroes for nearly 2 years and now, when they need their system to support them the most, are left out to dry.

We do not stand for this type of segregation and discrimination. These women are caring, loving, genuine hard working Canadians who are on the front lines, they know what’s actually happening. They have every right to say no and still keep working.

I find it super interesting that they could give two shits about lacking PPE during the WORST of it but now that the calmest version is here, let’s mandate and fire staff 🤔 WHAT?!?

We found a study in 2015 from the NIH stating straight up that Canada was not ready for a pandemic. 5 years before it actually hit.

That doesn’t sound like the 10% of folks who made a choice to say no thank you are to blame. That sounds like terrible management or something else we shall discuss down the road… but none of it is making sense and hasn’t for a long ass time!

So naturally we made an episode about it 😉

For the protection of our guests, this episode will have aliases and no set locations mentioned unless the guest was ok with it. This is due to the nature of the topic and the “woke” mob. Their stories need to be heard and their safety is most important to us ♥️

I wish we didn’t have to do this, they really deserve all the love and support.

In Season 2, we had the pleasure of interviewing two BII survivors local to Canada and we were beyond inspired by their strength and real talk.

So much so, when we were given an opportunity to bring two of BIIs biggest advocates on the show, it was a no brainer.

&& perfect timing too as the day we recorded (Feb 13th) was National Breast Implant Illness Awareness Day!

We see what you did there universe 😉

In this episode, Robyn and Amanda walk us through their personal journeys with BII, their reasons for being advocates and all the steps they are taking to help ensure all women proceed with the most knowledge and true informed consent.

These incredible women are huge supports in this community and have done so many positives for this movement like making changes with the laws in different states to ensure patients safety to providing endless resources for those going through this.

We are super grateful for all the work they have done, hours upon hours of research over years, spending tons of time and energy spreading the word so no woman has to be told she’s crazy for thinking her implants may be making her sick.

This has been happening for years and years. It’s time we throw this story off it’s course and start listening to those suffering and sharing what you know in case that information shared saves another friend, sister, mom, wife from the heaviness that comes with BII.

The positive is that there is a HUGE community with a wealth of knowledge to help you if you are experiencing this. There is a way to feel better and be supported now more than ever!

Let’s keep that up & support those who are hurting from illnesses we cannot always see ♥️

Part 2 of our “It’s for your health” series is all about the fitness industry 💪🏼

One that is near and dear to many of us.

Fitness is essential periodt.

The way you choose to perform said fitness is totally up to you but nonetheless no one can argue it is an absolute necessity for most.

Fitness has an affect not only on your physical body, but on your mental health and all around well being too. It is scientifically (that is a hot word lately isn’t it?!?) proven that movement enhances & extends your life.

So needless to say, when certain entities close down facilities and classes on and off over the past two years without providing addition support, it has taken noticeable affect on the Canadian population.

On this episode, we chat about how we have handled our fitness journeys through the past two years of insanity. Both of us being gym lovers, we adapted during the closures/mandates but that didn’t make it easy. Or welcomed.

Then we have two amazing Personal Trainers join us to share what it was like for their personal journeys, their clients journeys and how these restrictions are hurting their clients/businesses.

Then we jump onto one of our AMAZING returning guests Erin! This gem has been on to share all the real talk about food, fitness, comps & anxiety and on this show, she walks us through what being a competitor was/is like during these crazy unpredictable times. As always, Erin always inspires us to never give up and to always believe in ourselves. We are so proud of her!
