Season 8 finale is out and I’m so so grateful this season ended with one of my best.

Since we protect those we love, I dove into the world of Tik Tok to share some disasters with Hails so she doesn’t have too!!

Only one travelled over to IG so most of this was new info for her and of course she doesn’t disappoint 😂

We talk about problematic Tik Tok parents like Nurse Hannah (17 diapers mom)…. we talk about the resilient Jenkins family who make their kids sleep in the kitchen and keep expanding… we talk about Ash Trevino, the inmate hopper who acts like a teenager & seems like a predator at best and a criminal at worst, and then we unfortunately chat about the couple who was sentenced to 100 years in prison for assaulting young special need boys.

These people need to be stopped and CPS definitely needs to get involved and get these families the support and help they need.

And fore the love of fuck please keep your kids out of your monetized content. Be better at creating don’t exploit your kids. Period.

I am so so excited to bring you an amazing final guest interview of the season😍

Most of you will know Sunit from her extremely comical and valid criticisms of our current 🇨🇦 gov, especially the biggest Swiftie himself, JT, as well as being a huge light and sanity check for those of us fighting for freedoms here.

There are so many layers to this little firecracker I could talk to her for hours! And I did 🥰

Sunit shares how she grew up here in Canada, how her parents raised her, her beautiful family and their experiencing racism and how that has changed a few times now, how she sees the changes in immigration are affecting our every day lives, how she tries to help educate moms about homeschooling, sharing her vast knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and just how to be your own advocate.

People who spend their days trying to help others live their best lives are the people I love being around. This woman spends endless time helping anyone she can live a better life so let’s make sure to give back the love and support to her!

In the final segment of Keeping up with Canada, I talk about a topic that’s hopeful, has me torn & is chaotic at best.

First I start off with the good news of Cell Towers now built and activated along the Highway of Tears here in BC where far too many Indigenous women have gone missing. A great step forward for sure but why did this take nearly 20 years?! What else is holding back what more needs to be done. This is minor to what was suggested.

I then chat about the essential attack on short term rentals like Air BNB and VRBO with them implementing a new fund to enforce regulation and crack down on these types of businesses.

I finally end with an (edited/updated) chat about what is happening the federal level and why I didn’t think Trudeau resigning was the right move! This liberal drama is giving me more whiplash than the JB/BL movie drama GOOD LORD I CANNOT KEEP UP!

Bringing one of my besties on to talk all about Body Dysmorphia & how she works through those awful thought patterns & rabbit holes.

Darrian is like me and a corporate girly who busts hard towards her career goals. She’s an absolute weapon in the gym and has the most beautiful soul out there but that doesn’t absolve her of being weighed down by bad body images and self doubt.

She grew up in a home where her father cultured an environment away from calorie counting and body weighing and empowered them to be strong and athletic and although being aware she had predominantly bigger legs she never felt bad about that.

Growing up in a small town with school uniforms you don’t get as exposed to bodies in fashion.

It wasn’t until she started seriously body building that the body dysmorphia kicked into high gear.

Comments from those online or hearing back judges critic aren’t always nice to swallow.

We discuss the dangers of ANY physical appearance comments, good and bad, what we hate to see in the fitness industry and how much this space is lacking informed knowledge.

Way too many people get caught up in this space for the wrong reasons, completely amplified by social media.

As with anything, balance is key.

It’s great to self evaluate but don’t self hate.

It’s great to be competitive but not at the sake of your well being.

It’s great to eat healthy and exercise but not be addicted to it.

So many amazing take aways from this convo, I truly feel so blessed I have these inspirational women in my life who are honest and real about their lives too.

Perfect way to set the tone of the year 🥰

Girly I’m sorry but we are aging… it’s ok 🫶🏻 to Stephen Baldwins cryptic Tik Toks and how I think we need to leave the Beebs alone… to a side of Ariana Grande I can’t stand…MGK & Megan Fox get pregnant and then break up AGAIN 🙄 … an OF model on an mission to bang 1000 🍆 in a day and we end with Blake Lively & Justin Baldoni BECAUSE Y’ALL FUCKED UP HERE and I feel vindicated because h didn’t get the hate on BL I found it to be very sus the wholeeee thing! POST SHOW EDIT- ok maybe I’m the scab with all that’s come out since posting. I’m so over this shit but also so intrigued 🍿 I don’t know who or what to believe but someone pay for my whiplash GOOOOD grief.

First of all… apologies it’s all been me this month!

December is a very tricky month to bring guests on so you are stuck with solo me for a few more but I promise to end season 8 with some guests!

Soooo in this episode I thought it would be a great time to bring some conversation in about online safety.

Also I am NO expert… these are just from my experiences and what I have read!

Some of you may know but beginning of 2024 I had my online identity stolen.

It was beyond awful. I can’t even explain how exposing it was. How isolating and lost I felt.

I had no where to go, no one who could help. And they just went hard at everything in my life, leaving me without some money, no social identification and a such a huge data and photos loss.

& this isn’t even the worst thing online.

This Epsiode I also focus on a few stories that parents and kids need to be aware of in the online space.

Lawsuits coming out left, right and center to companies like Meta & Character.Ai from extremely concerned parents.

Anywhere from sextortion on Instagram to bad, hard drugs on Snapchat to Ai Apps pushing kids to self harm or harm their guardians.

These are real life things happening today to our communities and it isn’t being talked enough about.

Back to talking shit about the gov. Jk jk.

In part 12 of Keeping up with Canada, I jump into three hot topics surrounding politics here in Canada.

Just like the states, our federal election season seems to stir a lot of turmoil and anger between the parties and common ground gets forgotten.

I truly don’t want to come at it this way but we need to have the hard conversations together, all sides as hard as it can be.

Convos around gun control, Abortion, freedom of choice, censorship and where our money is being sent/spent to start.

In this segment I dive into the new restrictions coming to lawful gun owners, I talk lightly about the growing concern of abortion right changes here if the conservatives get in and I also talk about the Green Slush fund where our money is being mismanaged yet again by the current administration.

I got super nervous the first few mins and forgot to mention his name is Grant 😂 sooo after 8 years I still get nervous butterflies being with him 🥹

In this (I personally think adorable) episode we chat about how we got together, our love story, our wins and our losses and answer some questions from my girlfriends.

One thing that I have deep pride over is my relationship to my fiancée.

We are far from perfect but very much perfect for each other and we have never given up on each other.

Now most millennials will remember the 90s R&B & Hip Hop scene as such a great time. I can’t think of any songs from this time that doesn’t bring back amazing memories and some of the best music made.

But behind the scenes, we are finding out there is an ALLEGEDLY looming music mogul making moves and controlling the scene by either black mail, abuse, grooming or using his power dynamic to manipulate who ever he sees fit.

This man is apparently P. Diddy.

After his ex Cassie came out and settled her case out of court in 2023… the string that she pulled was the string to make the sweater started to unravel & it unravelled into a nightmare of secrets and utter disgusting behaviour.

The MANY allegations against this man range from disturbing to straight up diabolically evil.

We can share memes and laugh with dark humour but at the end of the day this man has been allegedly abusing people for 30 years. No one is safe. He abused them all. This started in the early 90s y’all!

& after I recorded we find out his ex bodyguard died of PNEUMONIA 🫢

Seems to be a lot of people around him, knowing his dark secrets like his ex wife Kim Porter & one of his bffs ex gf’s Brittany Murphy… and her husband are dying of pneumonia, with people claiming they were healthy individuals, dying from that didn’t make sense.

But that’s just weird coincidence isn’t it? Or IS IT?!

DID-He? Or DIDD-N’T-He?

I’ll leave that up to the courts but in this court of public opinion on this show… this judge says he’s GUILTY AF.

But I don’t think this story ends here… he’s gotta answer to someone…
