When it comes to nutritional science, who's opinion do we believe? Do we even think about it? Or are we quite happy to let someone else do our thinking for us and pretend that everything they say will be correct and perfect for us? How much evidence do we need before we might consider that not all nutritional advice is create equal when it comes to a specific and singular case, like ourself.
Considering things in our past is sometimes valuable. But how do we actually view those things in relation to how we feel about our present?
Do we wish we could change the past? Or do we reframe it?
Do we wish we could bring a feeling state from the past into the present?
All of which can be telling on our current sense of self, and possibly needs addressing.
Yet more on everyone's favourite subject.
Big picture stressors and their impacts on how we perceive ourselves in relation to them, and on how many levels this stress impacts us.
What IS Stress? and how is that relevant to you? How does it work, what does it do to you and what does that really look like?
What does exercise do, when we consider it regarding mental health? Does it do anything? Is it the exercise itself, or the decision to do some exercise? The physiological benefits, or the psychological ones? And how do we find and create those benefits when it comes to something typically associated with uncomfortable pain and stressful sweating?
Creatine is pretty awesome.
But, what is the difference between what you have always thought and what might be new ground trod with different thinking?
Are you repeating the same things to yourself in your head? or are you genuinely challenging yourself with new ideas and concepts of self?
Today we speak with Jo Howard, burgeoning billionaire and caffeine monger. She tells us the story of how she came to be who she is and the forever learning she's doing so that her story works for her now and in the future.
On how many levels does change happen?
Mental, emotional, physical?
What about spiritual? Or vibrational?
How much impact does a sense of self we cant see or touch really impact what our future can look like?
How do we change without addressing the filters and lenses with which we view the world and ourselves? if we view the actions and behaviours we exhibit through a logical or masculine frame, does that mean we are missing the value of a more emotional and feminine perspective? Wouldn't the opposite be true too?
The value of feminine and masculine, order and chaos, right and wrong, can sometimes be a limitation of creating change if we cant see ourselves and our reality in at least a slightly different light.
Change happens on a few levels and in a few different ways. But how, and why, does it happen at all? Where do we start and what does that look like?
