Welcome to Bearly Educated! We still have some things to vent about the loss to the Packers, then we look ahead to the Bears visit to Tampa to take on the defending champs. We also look at other matchups this week, and more!!

Once again, the Bears fall to the arch nemesis Green Bay Packers. There is a lot to talk about with this game, both on a single game as well as a macro level. Have we learned enough about Matt Nagy the coach to say definitively that he's not the guy to bring the Bears to a perennial contender level? And how did Justin Fields look today?

The Bears soundly defeat the Las Vegas Raiders 20 - 9, led by a stout defensive front and solid running game. Justin Fields showed flashes, but still showed he has a ways to go, but he protected the ball and made big plays at key moments. We share our thoughts in this brief post-game recap! Matt Nagy finally names Justin Fields the starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears! Whether he saw the light, listened to his staff and players, or was threatened by his superiors, Nagy does the right thing for the team's future. We discuss, and we preview the Raiders game.
