On this episode of They Walk Among America… It was June 26th, 1967, and Margaret Harold and Mast. Sergt. Roy D. Hudson were parked along a lonely dirt road around 12 miles west of Annapolis, Maryland. As they chatted, a man appeared from the woodland surrounding the road and began hastily walking towards them. He was wearing what looked like work clothing, and he appeared to be irate. He hollered to the couple that they couldn’t be parked there. Roy apologised, and as he went to climb back into the car, the unfamiliar man asked for a ride back to the highway. Roy told the man no, while Margaret added that there was no room for him in the car. Things then suddenly took a much more ominous turn…
