Unless you live in a cave or deep in the forest, there is no way to avoid conflict with other people. Whether on the job…at a social gathering…at home or…at church (yep, there too), you’re going to experience or encounter some form of conflict.
This two-part podcast series will explore six (6) ways to approach conflict. Will every conflict be solved? Maybe. Maybe not. Are most conflicts avoidable? In some cases yes. In some cases no. Regardless of the answers to these, among other, questions there are ways in which to approach conflict that will, hopefully, resolve or minimize the impact of those conflicts.
In part I, we will addressed the following:
1. Distinguishing Facts From Fiction
2. Distinguishing Motives & Emotions
3. Converting Complaints to Requests
In part II, we will address the following:
4. Starting Where You Are
5. Taking Responsibility For Your Contribution, Role or Influence
6. Forgiving & Giving Yourself A Gift
