Since the beginning, Dogfish has been breaking ground with innovative beers. Their newest effort, Noble Rot, may blur the line between wine and beer more than any in modern times.

Anyone who has heard of beer knows about Pilsners. Those who pay closer attention may have heard of their maltier cousin, Helles. But only a rarified few know about the red-headed stepchild of the lager world, Dortmunder Export. It's a shame too, since this drinkable session lager combines the best parts of both the Pils and the Helles styles.

It's time for the Super Bowl, so we decided to have a fun tasting from two brewing heavy weights from NYC and Boston. For New York, Chris pulled an aged Black Chocolate Stout from his cellar. For Boston, it's the new limited release Chocolate Chil Bock, The Vixen.

Single hop beers make use of only a sole hop varietal, making them the perfect canvas for showcasing a hop's potential. Today, Chris tastes two of the best single-hop IPAs out there, Founder's Centennial IPA, and Bell's famous India Pale, Two Hearted. Both both beers use the same hop, Centennial.
