Having confidence really makes a difference in your career as a performer. You simply have to believe in yourself, believe that you deserve this and then go for it.

There will be times when you put so much into your performance but walk away with very little. Yep, you failed. Now, take that failure and learn from it. You cannot appreciate the coming success without a few failures along the way.

Every performer has a vision. If your vision is expected to become reality you have to take massive action now. Passion alone is not enough, you need action.

Performers must work to develop good stage presence. You can have a mediocre talent but still give your audience an electrifying performance but even with great talent, if stage presence is lacking the performance will always be mediocre.

Perfection is not about executing your performance with precision or playing a sold out crowd or being paid tons of money. Perfection is putting your real self on stage to connect with your audience.

I will be the first in line to tell you that planning can really suck. I am also the first in line to tell you that you need to plan you performance effectively before getting on stage in front of your audience.

You will sometimes make wrong decisions but that does not mean they are bad decisions. One of the hardest decisions you will make is where your loyalty lies.
