The Benjamin Dixon Show

I woke up thinking about you this morning, and the shared problems we're all facing, and the struggles we all are enduring. They say misery loves company, but I think what it actually is is that in oppression there necessarily exists solidarty. I need you. You need me. We need us. We the People.

Here's my morning thoughts and prayers.

It's only 12 minutes.

And have a great rest of your day.

In today’s must-watch episode, Pastor Ben tackles the biggest stories blowing up America right now. Israel is leveling entire villages in southern Lebanon to create a security buffer zone, while the Pope visits Algeria and calls for real Christian-Muslim unity and peace.

MAGA and Trump supporters are furious — accusing the Pope of being soft on Islam and ignoring Christian persecution. But Pastor Ben asks the hard question:

Why are some Christians raging at the Pope for reaching out to Muslims, yet staying silent — or even defending — the documented harassment and spitting on Christians in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv?

He also brings in Jewish voices like Rabbi Yaakov Shapiro who argue Zionism is not the same as Judaism, and breaks down Hasan Piker’s explosive comments on Pod Save America where he said he’d choose Hamas over Israel “every single time.”

Then Pastor Ben goes straight to Scripture: Does the Bible actually require Christians to give Israel a blank check no matter what? Using Luke 4 and Isaiah 61, he calls for justice for the “least of these” instead of blind political loyalty.

We are living in dangerous times. Wars rage across the globe, democracy is under attack, the Constitution itself is being challenged, and information warfare never stops. Self-governance and basic freedoms are no longer guaranteed.

This is a moment of transition where every one of us has to do what we can to stay clear-eyed, courageous, and rooted in truth.

What we are witnessing is not normal politics; it is the language of an empire under strain, wrapped in exaggeration, distraction, and dangerous doublespeak that seeks to calm you on the surface while hardening power underneath — and we cannot afford to sleep through it. In this episode, I break it down plainly, call out what isn’t true, and remind us why the upcoming midterms matter more than ever — so get in formation, stay informed, and if you believe in this work, support it at patreon.com/thebpdshow.

“Thoughts and Prayers of Officials Mean Nothing to God Without Action.” In the wake of the Annunciation Catholic School tragedy in Minneapolis, this sermon confronts the hypocrisy of politicians who offer “thoughts and prayers” while refusing to act against gun violence. Drawing on Isaiah, James, Micah, Amos, and more, Pastor Ben exposes how God rejects empty prayers, condemns faith without works, and holds leaders accountable for blood on their hands. This is a biblical exegesis on gun violence, political idolatry, and the NRA’s grip on America. After the sermon, stay tuned for powerful commentary and analysis from the Black Family Channel family: DJ Xclusive, Rebecca Azor, Clickbaity Political Thirsttrap, Georgia Fort, Attorney Augustus Corbett, Dr. Carl Mack, and Pastors Jada and Ben. I don't take up this topic lightly or haphazardly. We must talk about this.

🚨 BREAKING: The Wall Street Journal reports the Justice Department told Donald Trump in May that his name appears multiple times in the Epstein files. Trump denied being told — but DOJ officials say otherwise. The documents remain sealed due to child exploitation content and privacy concerns. 💥 The fallout has led to a House recess, internal GOP clashes, and a bipartisan push (led by Rep. Thomas Massie) to force a vote to release the files.

When artist Obi Arisukwu dropped this Black Superman comic strip, MAGA lost their minds. The comic? A five-panel moral mic drop: Superman sees a man falling — then sees the MAGA hat — and re-buttons his shirt. No cape. No save. Just a question: “Would he have saved me?” Elon’s Twitter (X) flagged it for “hateful content.”

The post was visibility-limited — censored. So Obi reposted it. The result? It went double viral. Over 2.2 million views, 86,000+ likes, and a digital firestorm that exposed the real hypocrisy behind "free speech" rhetoric. We sit down with Obi to break down the comic, the backlash, the cultural moment around Superman 2025, and what happens when truth goes mythic. 🎨 Follow Obi and support his work:
