The Best Good Band Podcast

We're celebrating the third anniversary of Green Day's most recent record by revisiting FATHER OF ALL MOTHERFUCKERS for the first time in years! Have our feelings changed?? Has our world been rocked?? Find out!

Heyyyooooooooo!! We're dipping back into our alter ego, The Nimrods Podcast, to talk some Green Day and cover the band's extremely cool 25th anniversary edition of 'Nimrod.'

We've got a mega episode for you this week! We're finishing up the Misfits by attempting to talk about about their bizarre final album DEVIL'S RAIN--but mostly getting tired of it and moving on to MISFITS WRAP-UP! We're talkin' favorite songs from every era, ranking the records, and finally adding the Misfits to The Best Good Band List.

Dive in!!

This week we're talking about the second and final album of the "Misfits" bizarre '90s era! We're listening to 'Famous Monsters' for the very first time and it's a trip. Grab Scarecrow Man and Pumpkin Head and let's dive in!

Welp, we've finally arrived. The moment decades in the making... We're listening to Graves Era Misfits! This week we're talking about the first album from the second incarnation of The Misfits, AMERICAN PSYCHO. Is it as bad as we expected? Is it worse? Are there gems? Was there any point in this endeavor?? Find out!

This week we're talking about all the non-LP tracks from the Danzig era of The Misfits! There's a ton of gems on the collection and compilation records and we're digging into all of them because we're sad to leave the Danzig years. Next week we continue our Misfits journey by stepping off into the great unknown: the Graves Era...

We're talking about the final Misfits album of the Danzig era! EARTH A.D. is a wild one that veers into hardcore territory and has some extra psycho lyrics. We're getting into all the guts and glory!

Also we finally put Rage Against The Machine on the list cuz we forgot to do that...

This week we're talking about The Misfits proper debut full-length, WALK AMONG US. We had a blast revisiting this absolute classic and diving into the lunacy/genius of it. Mommy... can I go out and... POD TONIGHT???

We're back! And we're starting a new band... This week we're kicking off The Misfits' long and convoluted discography with STATIC AGE. This album was recorded in 1978, released in 1997, and rocks... to this day??

We're finishing up our run on Rage Against The Machine by talking about what we learned, ranking the records and our favorite songs--and then inexplicably forgetting to put them on the Best Good Band List... Oops. Maybe we'll do that next week. Stick around til the end of the episode to find out what band we're talking about next too!
