In these passages, the widow lady was crying out a cry of desparation and a cry of faith. God asked the widow lady first what she had in her house. But she had a jar of oil, which is a type of the Holy Spirit. So she had much! God thinking was that He was a more than enough God and the woman was told to gather many vessels to pour the oil in. In this passage the women chose the level of the blessing by the number of vessels she collected. That blessing reveresed her curse of poverty, not just for her, but for her whole family. 

God wants us to thrive ... wants us to live.

God requires us to go. Keep moving, don't be passive. If God has given you a dream or a vision, as you walk with the Lord he will begin to unfold it for you. 

In the bible, many of the saints did not respond immediately, "I am ready." It is a process, in which the Lord's work in you will encourage.
