This acclaimed musical by singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and director Rachel Chavkin is winner of 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical and the Grammy Award® for Best Musical Theater Album. It intertwines two mythic tales — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and Queen Persephone — as it invites you on an unforgettable journey to the underworld and back. Performed by a vibrant ensemble of actors, singers, dancers, and musicians, HADESTOWN asks audiences to imagine how the world could be.

Nickolaus Colón portrays Hades in Hadestown, and Brittney had the chance to hear about this integral role and the incredible reception it has had around the World!

Shannon's words of wisdom should echo through every heart who is considering fostering,

"They all come in for different reasons, but the bond they can make with each other, especially the little ones because their hearts are so full of love and want to give it and want to receive it. Kids are also the most resilient. It's easier to help and fix a child than a broken adult."

Her heart has been stretched and grown in tremendous ways since becoming a foster Mom, and encourages anyone who is thinking about doing it, to reach out to SAFY to find out more!

"You're setting a foundation. You're healing some of the wounds, and you couldn't ask for anything better."

Thank you to Hoosier Tire for giving back to the givers this Christmas season!

While Allison and her husband are unable to have biological children, they knew they wanted to grow their family.

"Somehow, some way I found my way to SAFY, and we never looked back."

Their first placement was a child who had been in multiple foster homes in just six years. Today, Allison is happy to share that they are in the process of adopting him!!

What is one word that describes her family?

"Miracle. An absolute miracle, and he made that happen."

If you are interested in making a difference in the life of a child, please reach out to SAFY and find out how you can discover your own miracle!!
