In highlinting Dullstrooms birthday celebration, Iga also spoke about how Dullstroom "dates back to the 1880s and when it was first established the closes shops and post office was 25 minutes away in Bergendal. Some of the cornerstones of certain buildings date back to 1890. It is named after its Dutch founder, Wolterus Dull, and not for being dull, as some predict. In isiZulu this region of the Mpumalanga highlands meander is called Emakhazeni, which means place of cold. The weather is consistently mild, reminiscent of the English climate and the earl-morning mist clings to the dams. Though it is surrounded by pine tree plantations, the village is known for its deciduous trees, such as beeches, oaks, cherries."

Generation Z which are 18 – 25 are way more digitally savvy when it comes to using Social Media and prefer to use it as a more of a voyeuristic platform, for example they tend to DM their friends with cool content instead of tagging them publically. Gen Zers may crave hyper-personal experiences on social media, but they’re also keen to protect their privacy. They’re more inclined to cover the webcam on their laptops. Apps such as Snapchat, Whisper, Yik Yak or Secret are popular among teens for their privacy. On sites like Twitter or Instagram, teens may use aliases or create separate accounts to maintain different social media personas. For the most part, Generation Z welcomes diversity with open arms and expects to see this on Social Media to do the same, they’re more liberally minded.
