Relebogile had a chat with Obenewa Amponsah, she is the Executive Director for Harvard University's Center for African Studies.  

The opening of the office is an opportunity to increase collaboration with Africans, scholarly institutions and strengthen ties with Harvard Alumni in Africa, enhancing dialogue and facilitating cross-cultural teachings and academic exchange.

Relebogile had a chat with Andile Gaelesiwe from Open Disclosure Foundation about a March against the abuse of women and children.

The march taking place today will commence from the University of Johannesburg's Soweto Campus (starting at 10:00) proceeding to Regina Mundi where a memorandum will be handed to the ministry of police.

Relebogile had a chat with Cassey Chambers from The South African Depression and Anxiety Group. They want to create awareness leading up to Bipolar awareness day which is on Friday the 26th.  

In an attempt to address the gap in local knowledge surrounding the Day SADAG asked people in SA living with Bipolar Disorder to complete an online survey – and over 400 responded.

Relebogile had a chat with Afro Soul singing sensation Brenda Mtambo about her two SAMA nominations for the new Album titled “So Much More”. 

Brenda has scooped two SAMA Nominations for her new Album. She’s been nominated in the categories for Best R&B / Soul / Reggae Album and Best Produced Album.

 The South African Music Awards will be taking place on the 27th of May.

Relebogile had a chat with Kay Vittee, CEO at Quest Staffing solutions about how low self-esteem and lack of confidence can hinder your career prospects. 

While not everyone is innately confident in the workplace, recent research shows a strong correlation between confidence and occupational success.

Vittee says "Considering the competitive nature of the job market, working on improving your confidence levels can go a long way in boosting your career prospects and helping you stand out from the crowd"

Relebogile spoke to Ryland Fisher, Editorial director at Topco Media and initiator of Topco Media’s Vision 2030 project, to chat about the Vision 2030 Awards which will be taking place for the first time next month.

The awards are a ground-breaking first for South Africa, recognising as it does the achievements and success stories of organisations, enterprises and individuals that are actively demonstrating alignment to the government’s Nine-Point Plan to boost economic growth and achieve the milestones set by the National Development Plan (NDP).
