To demystify millennia of science, philosophy, and religion is no easy task. During archaic times and the thousands of years of wisdom; acquired by the priests of Egypt for example, there was no reference to science or philosophy - it wasn't even religion, per se. The nature of existence or of truth and knowledge was not merely the true belief, of ancient Greek philosophy. As civilization moved westward, through the Mediterranean, Europe, and across the Atlantic; the nature of existence or of truth and knowledge, was and still remains in constant and often volatile conflict. It seems the world has settled on believing but understanding where it all came from, remains shrouded in the mists of time

Dr. Christensen is a retired oral and maxillofacial surgeon who developed the first successful implants for the reconstruction and replacement of the human temporomandibular joint. These devices had been implanted in patients during the period, before and after, the Medical Device Act of May 28, 1976, was established. The implants as Total and Partial temporomandibular joint implants were implanted with great success over the next 50 years since their innovation. Dr. Christensen is known as the pioneer in this type of surgery for degenerative joint disease, traumatically or congenitally missing portions of the associated bony anatomy and for certain tumor surgeries where resection of the actual TMJ may be required. The story to be told in this book is about the rigorous path his small medical device company was forced to undertake after being considered a "grandfathered medical device' with some 40 years of successful medical history. It is a story of persecution, abuse, conflicts of interest, corruption and distortion causing a serious financial burden for his small company.

Shelby Beckett Shelby Beckett began writing poetry in elementary school and finished her first novel (illustrated by a friend and still unpublished) at the age of 10. Fascinated from an early age by the ancient Greek and Roman worlds, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin and Greek from the University Akron, followed by a Master of Arts degree in archaeology from the University of Cincinnati. These studies, in addition to teaching Latin for several years, inspired the attraction to mythology that she has woven into her novel, BETWEEN. Originally skeptical about the paranormal, she has (ironically) spent most of her adult life leadingclasses in psychic/spiritual development in many locations throughout the United States, as well as channeling information for numerous individuals and groups about life after death, reincarnation, energy healing and many other related subjects. Shelby and her husband make their home in Gainesville, Florida.

For 2,000 years, the Mayan Calendar has predicted the end of humanity on a date equating to December 21, 2012. Now a new book, PHOBOS: Mayan Fear, by NY Times best-selling author Steve Alten describes two very real ticking time bombs of Mother Nature that could be triggered by the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva, either one of which would fulfill the prophesy. The first threat comes from a volcano on La Palma, one of the Canary Islands off the coast of Africa, the eruption of which would cause a massive landslide into the Atlantic that would unleash a 3,000-foot-high mega-tsunami. Scientists state such a wave would travel across the Atlantic at the speed of an airliner before decimating the east coast of the United States, leveling New York, Boston, and Miami. The second major event described in the book is far more devastating -- the long overdue eruption of the Yellowstone Caldera, a super-volcano packing the equivalent of ten thousand Mt. Saint Helens. Besides the widespread devastation and destruction, the eruption would blanket the Earth's atmosphere, cutting off the sun's rays and leading to a 100,000-year Ice Age. PHOBOS: Mayan Fear links these events with seismic disturbances caused by the release of a stranglet - a miniature black hole created by the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva. While CERN physicists contend that these black holes are too small to threaten the Earth, others disagree, including one physicist who concurred with the catastrophic threats described in Alten's book

Cathryn McIntyre is a natural psychic and clairvoyant and the author of two books about her experience living as a psychic in the historic town of Concord, Massachusetts. She is also an astrologer; a UFO experiencer; and an occasional ghost investigator. A blog McIntyre wrote about one of her investigations in Boothbay Harbor, Maine got the attention of author, Greg Latimer, who investigated and validated McIntyre’s findings and included the story in his book, Ghosts of the Boothbay Region. Ronny LeBlanc, star of the Travel Channel’s Expedition Bigfoot, featured an interview with McIntyre in the latest of his Monsterland series of books in which she discussed her alien abduction experiences and her ability to connect to spirit, including tapping into the consciousness of the creature known as Bigfoot. In her latest book, The Thoreau Whisperer, McIntyre writes about her experience channeling the spirit of Concord’s most famous writer, Henry David Thoreau. Thoreau is best remembered for his essay Civil Disobedience, which was his plea in defense of the rights of man, and for his book, Walden, written about his experiment living alone in a cabin at Walden Pond in Concord. It was soon after moving from Michigan to Massachusetts in 1984 that McIntyre encountered the spirit of Thoreau at a home near Walden Pond but it wouldn’t be until 2006, following an after-death encounter with her mentor, who was an eminent Thoreau scholar, that the channeling would begin. Cathryn McIntyre is the author of The Thoreau Whisperer: Channeling the Spirit of Henry David Thoreau (2018), and Honor in Concord: Seeking Spirit in Literary Concord (2008). She is also the founder of The Concord Writer, a literary and publishing concern dedicated to the words, wisdom and enduring spirit of Henry David Thoreau.
