The worship cycle loosely follows the water cycle - God pouring his love down on us, we absorb and grow in lots of different ways, and finally we should give back glory to God by showing his love to others.

Of our 5 main senses which are :- Seeing, Touching, Tasting, Smelling and Hearing , the bible refers more to Hearing than the others. Seeing is a close 2nd. but Listening and Hearing are mentioned the most. Also it is interesting that the Prophet Jeremiah features it's significance more than any other writer in the Old Testament. The relevance of this emphasis is because we habitually allow ourselves to 'switch off' from the importance of absorbing through the clarity and power of meaningful hearing, God's Wisdom and Words to us.

Pete encourages us to look below the surface and dig deep into the accounts we read of in the bible to find greater meaning and application for our lives.
