Currently she is serving as a Program Manager at the North Carolina Department of Public Health. This role and her foundation in the community give LaQuana a unique perspective on the times we face as Black People. Health disparities, racial injustice, and joblessness are top of mind issues for everyone right now. We wanted to know how someone in her position stays positive; how does she stay in the fight? We wanted to know what the sentiment toward Black Men are in the office where she works. We had lots of questions. And our guest was gracious in answering them all with honesty and candor.
