Sometimes I'm just not strong enough, and I feel like that's when the Lord wants us to remember that when we're at our weakest in life, He says, "Lean on me. Be strong in me." The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of His understanding. There was a place in New York where I grew up called The Pond, and you were really brave if you did the high dive there...I was never brave enough to do it though. To me, it was so terrifying climbing up the ladder and then looking down into the water, but that's okay because those types of high dives are not always worth it in life. When you take a spiritual high dive though, when you take the plunge, a leap of faith, they're always worth it. Today we are going to study two high divers in the Bible - Let's "dive in!"

I did something crazy to kick off 2025... My husband and I decided to join a thousand of our neighbors and jump into Puget Sound for the Polar Plunge on New Year's Day. I thought this is the perfect way to begin a brand new year symbolically too, and take the spiritual plunge and go deeper in my faith. Let's do that together today!
