Lester L. Roloff was born on June 28, 1914 in Dawson, Texas. He grew up there on a cotton farm. At the age of 12, he was saved, and at the age of 18, he surrendered to the Lord’s call to preach. Acting upon this sacred calling, he entered Baylor University. While he was there, he paid for his room and board by milking a Jersey cow he had brought from his parents’ farm. He graduated from Baylor and attended Southwestern Seminary for nearly three years. During this time, he pastored two part-time churches. He then pastored four full-time churches before the Lord called him, in 1951, to be a full-time evangelist.

This Christmas season many songs will be played in celebration. One of the songs being played is "Mary, Did You Know?". I greatly appreciate the fact that the questions of man can be answered from the Word of God. I'm thankful that the many truths that Mary knew, can be known and loved by us as well. Take a few moments to listen to what the Scripture shows that Mary knew. Merry Christmas to you and your family this Christmas season!
My wife and I have watched our two children growing up. There have been times in their lives, when they asked for a light to be left on at night. Not seeing what's around your or not knowing what's there can be a troubling time. We are definitely in troubling times and the inability to see what is coming next can shake one's foundation. One can start to think that nothing good can come from all that is taking place. Yet in II Corinthians 4:6, the Bible states "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness". What makes the difference is God. God makes all the difference in the world. We will look at how this "light" impacts our lives and those around us and beyond.
