The prophet Samuel is mentioned over 100 times throughout Scripture. The prophet Samuel was used in a powerful way in Isreal's history. There are many lessons that Samue learned. In today's message, we will look at five lessons that he learned, that we also can learn and apply in our lives as well. 

In a world consumed with social distancing, and attempting to fix what only God can fix, it is an opportunity for us to share the pure, precious and powerful touch of Jesus Christ with a lost and dying world! We learn from Matthew 8 of the audacity, authority and aftermath of the touch of Jesus Christ. May we bring others to Christ to have their lives converted, changed and found continuing for Christ!

A prison is not a pleasant place. Many faithful saints of God have spent many years in prison's for simply obeying the Lord. A prison can be more than concrete and steel walls keeping us locked in. A prison can be something that we believe we are bound by, surrounded by and unable to escape. Yet throughout life, we may not like the place or circumstances that we are in, yet God has a plan throughout it all! I pray this message will be a help as we look at the Prison of Lies, the Prison of Loss and the Prison of Limitations today.

In this day and hour, the need for the men of God to be bold, has never been greater! We find one such bold man of God in Acts 6. Stephen stood for the Lord and was bold. Stephen was faithful and full of the Holy Ghost in his life and in his death! May God find such men among us even today!

In World War II, there was a group of men were part of the 101st Airborne. They became known as the "Band of Brothers" from Easy Company. These men worked and fought the enemy together! May we today be found faithful to do the same!

In Joshua 3, the nation of Israel was brought to a place that they had not been before. Their parents had been brought to a place that they had not been before and they failed the Lord in unbelief. The mistakes of others does not need to be our mistakes as well. May we choose to go with God, and find there are no regrets. There does not need to be any fear walking with the Lord. The greatest walk with God, is walking by faith! 

John 4 reveals that people haven't changed and our  problems haven't changed and thankfully Jesus hasn't changed!  Searching for satisfaction in everything but Jesus Christ will always leave us thirsty and searching for the satisfaction our soul craves. The only satisfaction our heart will ever find complete will be with Jesus Christ as our Saviour! There are several lessons we can learn as we study John 4. 

In this small verse are some very big truths! We look at The Eminence, the Eternality, The Excitement and the Exhibition of the glory of God. In a day when so many are wanting attention, and God is not even being thought about, we need to get back to giving God the glory that He so richly deserves! 

Growing up as a child, "cleaning house", was quite a task that was not enjoyed. It was needed, yet I did not always want to clean the house. As an adult, it's healthy to have a clean house. As a Christian, it's imperative that we clean the "house" of our heart in our walk with the Lord. In Numbers 25, Phinehas took action when open sin was being committed before the LORD, Moses and the Israelites. The actions of one man to "clean house" impacted the nation of Israel! May the Lord find us faithful to "clean house" in our own family's and walk with the Lord!
