Are you more of a saver or a spender? However you answered that question, what is the reason why? As for me, I don't have an answer, except to say that I've always been a saver. The so-called Parable of the Talents is definitely not an endorsement for a savings plan. In fact, it's all about how to spend money; and not just some of what you have, but all of it. For a guy who needs to save less and spend more, I'm all ears to hear from Jesus on this subject.

In 2 Corinthians 5:17, Paul makes this very interesting statement: If anyone is in Christ, that person is a new creation. What does it really mean to be a new creation and what is required of us, if anything, to get there? The answer lies with the specific Greek word that Paul uses. For now, suffice to say that this kind of NEW is something only God can do.
