September 23, 2021UK Football Betting expert Charlie Mullan talks City-Chelsea, Champions League, and Ryder CupIn this episode, UK betting expert Charlie Mullan preview Saturday's Premier League clash between Man City and Chelsea. Man City's last Premier League with Southampton ended in a 0-0 draw while Chelsea beat Spurs 3-0 in Sunday's London Derby. First, we relive the past matches between City and Chelsea. Charlie also brings up how Chelsea has scored first in all five PL fixtures this season and only allowed one goal, which was a penalty away at Liverpool. We also look at the impact Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has made in his second stint with Chelsea after a club-record signing from Inter Milan. Charlie reminds me how and why Chelsea let Lukaku leave before he reached his full potential. With both teams having depth, we try and predict which lineups Tuchel and Pep will use on Saturday. For City, I ask Charlie whether current City and former Villa star Jack Grealish will start against the reigning European champs. We also look at whether City might have been better off signing Spurs and England striker Harry Kane over Grealish. In less than a year in charge of Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel has won the Champions League, made the FA Cup Final, and led Chelsea to the top spot in the PL after five games. City has recorded four straight PL clean sheets. For Chelsea, I am intrigued whether Chelsea captain César Azpilicueta will be the third central defender or used as a right wing-back as he was in Sunday's Premier League win over Spurs. I also predict Kai Havertz, who scored the only goal against City twice last season, will start. Charlie is predicting both teams to not score while I agree this game will likely provide few goals but plenty of feisty battles between two of England's top clubs. With this weekend being big for sports, we also look at the Champions League encounter between Man City-Paris St. Germain and the Ryder Cup....more42minPlay
September 23, 2021Cash Game Week 3 With Charles SearsIn this audio podcast, Charles Sears and I talk about our favorite cash-game plays and locks for Week 3 of the 2021 NFL Season.First, we look back at how well our lineups fared in Week 2. Luckily, both of us made a profit with our cash-game builds. Charles went with either Andy Dalton or Teddy Bridgewater to save money and build a more expensive lineup. The Big D used Kyler Murray and went with cheaper receivers. Both of us used Rams receiver Cooper Kupp as someone whose price tag didn't make after a monster Week 1.Onto Week 2, we first look at how Charles is constructing his cash lineup. He is thinking of using Jared Goff or Matt Ryan as a salary-safer. This could change depending on what values or decisions Charles makes before Sunday's official lock. Charles is really locked on using Travis Kelce and the Titans or Bengals defense. Kelce offers a big floor and major upside from a tight end position with a lack of stars. He may very well use Jaguars receiver Marvin Jones and hope for a third big game from Trevor Lawrence's favorite targets. Then, we look at my lineup. After not being able to use him in the first two main slates, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is finally an option for cash games. With his rushing upside, Lamar will be a mainstay of my lineups. Like last week, Kupp will be in my builds. I am amazed Kupp is only $6,800 after back-to-back monster games. We also look at what decisions The Big D could make to use his $50,000. I am going back and forth on whether to use Vikings' running back Dalvin Cook or Titans' star Derrick Henry. I am looking forward to using consistent Keenan Allen in a potential shootout against the Chiefs. ...more59minPlay
September 20, 2021Oh no! Alex's Dolphins and My Jags lay major stinkers in Week 2In this episode, Alex and I talk about a memorable Week 2 for all the wrong reasons for our favorite NFL teams. The Buffalo Bills blanked Alex's Dolphins 35-0 while the Denver Broncos beat my Jags 23-13. First, we talk about what happened in Miami. In a sign of a tough afternoon, Dolphins starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a rib injury early in the game. Miami only put 216 yards of total offense while allowing six sacks and committing three turnovers. Alex then explains how Miami's offensive line has been a consistent problem for many years before yesterday's shutout loss. Then, we both talk about the Jaguars. Despite throwing two more picks, I remain optimistic Trevor Lawrence will be fine. I then comment on what has gone wrong with 2020 standout James Robinson after another quiet game to start 2021. We switch from our favorite teams to the good, bad, and ugly of Week 2. I start with my admiration of Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler's Murray. We then both talk about Titans start runner Derrick Henry almost carrying the Titans to an overtime win in Seattle. We also love the combo between Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp, who Caught nine passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns against the Colts. Now from the good to the bad and ugly, We talk about Jets rookie Zach Wilson's four interceptions against the New England Patriots. In a game that disappointed most on-lookers, Cowboys receiver Amari Cooper frustrated fantasy owners with just three receptions after a memorable Week 1 against the Bucs. Alex then goes into a rant on the officiating after a few questionable calls in the Cowboys-Chargers game. We end our discussion by previewing the Dolphins trip to Vegas while the Jags welcome Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals to Jacksonville. We also looked into how DFS users constructed winning cash lineups. We switch to this week's slate by looking into how big D is setting his cash lineups. Charles likes me using three running backs due to safer floors from rushing touchdowns. I am a fan of using Nick Chubb, Keenan Allen, Cooper Kupp, and Noah Fant in my lineups. We also look at his strategy with using Mac Jones and Teddy Bridgewater as cash quarterbacks. By using cheap passers, Charles can spread his money on more expensive receivers and running backs. We also look at what lineups Charles is constructing for Sunday's main DK slate....more54minPlay
