Started by the Eden Project, The Big Lunch is an initiative aiming to bring millions of people together to share food and get to know each other in gardens, streets, communal spaces and parks right across the UK.

Made possible by the National Lottery, this year’s event will take place on the 1st and 2nd of June.

Speaking with us, Great British Bake Off’s Manon Lagrève and Eden Project’s Executive Director, Peter Stewart, explained why it’s worth joining in.
