  • EPISODE 37 - She's Got That Back - The Michael LaVaughn Robinson Story
Ever wonder where "The Big Mic Show" got its name? Yes, podcasts = microphones, but the true meaning of it actually comes from "Big Mike", aka Michael LaVaughn Robinson, aka Michelle Obama. Many conspiracy theorists speculate that she's a he, which might sound crazy, but when you take a deeper dive into the details, there may be some truth to the speculations. Dave and Becky also look into the controversies surrounding the Obama family, from the chef recently drowning, to their two daughters belonging to different parents, to racy letters sent in the 80's. As usual, in poor taste and likely to offend!
We do sincerely apologize for the sound quality. We have some bugs that need fixing! Next show will be better, promise!

  • EPISODE 36 - This Week in News August 13-19, 2023
Oh boy, so many good news stories from the past week. A conservative radio host and known figure in the conservative movement said some very heinous things in an interview. The "crazy plane lady" has been identified and has given a statement. The American Medical Association published a paper suggesting that taxpayers should be in charge of paying for a very specific surgery. Disney is doing what they do best, and that is completely distorting the classics with their woke agenda. A trans woman destroyed the competition in Canada, and female athletes are not pleased. Mortgage interest rates have sky-rocketed in both Canada and the US alike. Meanwhile, two Canadian cities are burning. Concert-goers keep experiencing strange and unexplainable happenings. A well-known university is still acting on vaccine mandates for its students.

  • EPISODE 35 - The Maui Fires and the Destruction of America from Within

Dave and Becky talk wildfires in Lahaina. Were they intentionally set or from gross negligence? Or was Maui just another victim of mother nature? As the death toll rises, the circumstances surrounding the fire seem suspicious and calculated, but how can anyone know for sure? It seems far-fetched that a government could commit unspeakable acts against its people, though we've seen them do worse throughout history. Our hearts go out to the residents of Lahaina during this tragic time.

  • EPSIODE 34 - This Week in News August 6-12, 2023

Your weekly "in the news" segment for August 6-12, 2023.

Lizzo makes her Big Mic debut for recent accusations against her by her dancers. Canada's fearless leader, JT, breaks headlines with changes to his marital status. Speaking of JT, Canadian news content is being censored and hidden on social media. In world news, some sporting organizations have recently banned trans participation in female sports. And in probably the most disturbing news story of the week, a bill has been put in motion in California decriminalizing "consensual" sex with minors.

Stay tuned every Saturday to get your fix of stupid human tricks, as penned by Dave. This award goes to the dumbest or most ironic story of the week. Congrats Lizzo!

  • EPISODE 33 - The Spinning Watery Curvy Bendy Ball

Special guest Jon talks with the crew about flat earth. A highly controversial topic, guaranteed to ruffle some feathers. Rethink what you know about the moon, space travel and Antarctica. Although not everyone agrees with Jon's point of view, it was a real pleasure having him on the show! Expect a part 2 in the near future.

  • EPISODE 32 - The Wormwood Prophecy pt. 2

In the first half of this episode, Becky and Eric discuss mitigation efforts to stop the asteroid. But then the conversation evolves into who the antichrist could be, the pope, the rapture and other end-times prophecy.

Cross posted on this podcast and Becky's new podcast, 'The 5:11 Show'.

  • EPISODE 31 - The Wormwood Prophecy

Becky has a very in-depth look at the Wormwood Prophecy with a special guest, Eric. Pulled from the prophetic dream and book of Dr. Thomas Horn, the asteroid Wormwood is speculated to hit earth in the later part of this decade. Becky and Eric examine how this coincides with end-time prophecy and the book of Revelation. This is a two-part episode, though part two can also be a stand alone show.

Disclaimer: Steve and Dave will be hearing this episode for the first time, just like you. We do normally like to keep it fairly neutral when it comes to religion, but thought we would mix it up this time. For a more bible-based show in the future, check out 'The 5:11 Show', Becky's new side podcast.

  • EPISODE 30 - It's a Long Haul to Freedom

In this episode the crew talks about the egregious use of The Emergencies Act by the Canadian Government on its own citizens to crush political descent. They examine a movement that's inspired millions around the world, it's opposition, and they even take a peak into The Young Global Leaders Group and their global agenda! This one's a truly Canadian episode eh.
