DEBRA's career started in the theater, and working on stage remains her first love. She received nominations for New York's Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her portrayal of well known radio and television sex therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer in "Becoming Dr. Ruth" at the Westside Arts Theatre. She performed on Broadway in a major revival of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" with Kathleen Turner and Charles Durning.
She is returning to Los Angeles to appear at the Atwater Village Theatre in "The Cake," a play by Bekah Brunstetter.
