We interviewed Rebecca Terrell, Senior Executive Editor of The New American magazine and former legislative aide to Congressman Ron Paul. She authored the bill to end US membership in the United Nations. Versions of the bill were introduced in every Congress for the next 25 years.

We broadcast on the most popular station in the Texas Hill Country from our studio in Kerrville. This program is part flood coverage, including an exclusive audio from Dennis Quaid, and part regular show. Among other things you will learn about the flood, we address the accusations that because of Trump's budget cuts in the National Weather Service, people were not warned in time.

A special edition of the Bill & Alison show -- a tribute to Kinky Friedman, a close friend who stepped on a rainbow one year ago. Featuring his sister Marcie and some of her favorite stories about Kinky, some of his songs, one of the interviews we did with him, and lots of stories about this legendary musician, songwriter, best-selling author, founder of a no-kill dog rescue shelter (over 2,000 dogs adopted!) and a free summer camp for the children of a parent who died as a first responder or in military service, and so much more.

Kinky (d. 2024) was in the studio and we sat down with him for some poignant, some funny, conversation. We even got him to sing some of his songs! (Alison is co-executive producer, with Kinky's sister Marcie, of his final album, "Poet of Motel 6").
