The Black Canary and Lady Shiva are still doing the Freaky Friday/Hero Swap as Dinah is across the world, walking in the steps that was once Shiva's. And in Gotham, Shiva and the gang are trying to track down the medical doctor who has the health records of many super criminals. Oh, forgot to mentioned this shady doctor has been kidnapped by Prometheus. The Prometheus who took down the Justice League in Grant Morrison's JLA. Plot thickens.

The crew, Laurel, Ashford, and Mark, discuss the fast romp/Black Canary ascension of the 2nd installment of Progeny by Gail Simone. H.I.V.E. is after the Birds of Prey and over on the other side of the world, Black Canary is living in Lady Shiva's shoes, and they hurt like hell. One Year Later, but the threat is right now!

365 days later, the Birds of Prey returns, well...sort of. Yes, the Oracle, Zinda, and the Huntress are busy in Gotham, but Black Canary is across the globe. Now don't worry, the Jade Canary is filling in for her. Now, I should mention the Jade Canary is Lady Shiva. Yep, she's substituting for Dinah while she is being...initiated???

Harley Quinn lost her woman, her family, and perhaps, her mind? Returning to Gotham to confront those who destroyed her home/business and family. But as you might imagine, things don't go as plan.

The gang at Feathers and Foes discussed this one shot issue by guest writer Jim Alexander as well Jimmy Palmiotti on inks and Bradley Walker on pencils. Huntress is trying to be the best Bird she can be, yet Oracle is not straight up with her concerning this mission. Twists and Turns are throughout this issue. Write to us at [email protected]

This Birds of Prey special is so...special, 32 pages just wasn't enough. Heck, 80 pages wasn't enough, so DC decided to go with a smooth 100. A good mix of stories, featuring Black Canary, Huntress, Barbara Gordon, and Harley Freakin' Quinn. For 4.99 one can't go wrong. Go pick this up and read every story. So worth it.
