This week, Allison, Max, and Janette talk about three women who conquered their obstacles and then some. The first, the brain behind the triumph of Hearst Castle and over 200 other buildings still standing today, was California’s first licensed female architect; The second, a woman known around the world for being both deaf and blind, was so much more than you learned in school and then some; The third, a luminary whose life ended much too soon, became the first black woman to have a show produced on Broadway: Julia Morgan, Helen Keller, and Lorraine Hansberry. /
