Midterm elections in the United States have ended and now there appears to be a blue wave that has spread across the country. This has caused many who are not Democratic (party) to be in fear and uncertain about the future. A wave of women leaders have arisen and those who are not to sure about female leadership are fearful and try to smear these leaders. There is also an uptick in deaths caused by the wildfires in California. What do we do about these various issues. Let's discuss and hash it out.

Many people have chosen to do away with the Church and/or the Gospel. They have heard or dealt with people who were member of the clergy, ordained, or church goers who have displayed evil actions, intent, and malice. They have perverted the name of Jesus Christ and made his Gospel seem like a fraud. They have stolen, lied, and cheated on others. These people do not represent the Kingdom of God. They do not represent the character and nature of God. I implore you today to make a decision of not leaving God because of other people's actions. At the end of the day, it will not matter if sister cornbread cheated or stole. It will not matter if your mother or grandfather were members of a church. What will matter is your personal relationship with God. What did you do in his name? No matter what people may say, or what science claims, Eternity is real. There is a place and a realm called Hades. There is a place and a realm called Heaven. All three realities exists, what will you do? Who will you serve? God, Man, or the Devil. I recommend that you serve God. He is a great employer, father, friend, council, protector, provider, and King. Trust him and never let him Go.

The after life. Fewer Americans than ever before believe that it actually exists. Is it real, or is a figment of society's imagination. Or is just a mythology. The fact still remains whehter not you believe in energy, force, or a spirit, there is something that animates life. There is a nawing within each person that longs for more. If this life is all we have, reality is a cruel fate.

In every nation, crime, wickedness, deceipt, and evil seem to be on the rise. Whether it be racism, nationalism, sexism, or discrimination - it is not the will of the creator. Where did this nonsense come from? Did it come from God, the creator of all life? Evil has an origin and it is revealed in this podcast episode. You don't have to wonder anymore about it's purpose or existence. People everyday fall in lock stop with it's seduction of power, lust, and affection. You can resist it and not succumb to it. You can live a life of freedom, hope, and love.

American Racism is a special kind of beast. It lies open and dormant almost simultaneously. It can be present at work, home, shopping at the mall, atheletics, school or anywhere. So what do you do about it if you are a Christian and love the Lord. Well one, you can resist it whether or not you are in the role of a victim or with friends that try to victimize. If you are the recipient of such hate, first begin everyday requesting the Lord's protection and favor in your life. Put on the whole armor of God to resist the evil strategies and plans of the evil one. Ask the Lord to have his Holy Spirit cover and protect you with his angels everyday. Now you speak out and up against this injustice. You resist and if you have to call the authorities. But always use common sense. Don't forget to pray because we are living in evil times. The good news is that you can overcome with God on your side. I hope you enjoy this episode.

Gender Fluid seems to be a new thing some parents and couples are using as a teaching tool in parenting. They feel that they are being open minded and allowing their children to not be hemmed in to one category but to be themselves. This all seems counter productive. Because it is the parent's job to guide children into being responsible men and women for the future. The gender fluid parenting is not open minded or free but is very restrictive. It guides our world's youth into a path of sexual irresponsibility at an early age. It teaches them to be an outsider and to go against the grain just for the pleasure of their parents in knowing that they have taught their children to act in ways that they know is opposite to the natural order of life. I don't agree with it and I hope that you listen with an "open" mind

What do you do, when you never receive a promotion?

 

Promotion at Work

Multi-generaltional workforce. What do you do when you work with a large swath of generations. Going back to obtain your degree to maintain your independence. Is it worth it? College Debt - still a burden  to families, individuals and some companies.

Success in obtaining higher education and a promotion>?

Investment and skepticism looking for a position but never received the promotion inspire of following the rules. What do you do. It’s been about five years. What do you do when you’re employed and you never receive the promotion. Especially if you are a christian. And you are elderly or younger. There are multiple reasons why people choose not to move on.

What if you want to remain in this particular job. What do you do? Do you give up. Run and cry.

Article: employers need to ensure that they do not cater to one group over another. Because you may lose the wisdom that an older generation may . You don’t want to cater too much to the older generation because you may lose the innovation of the millennials.

Simple answer is to trust in God. You can be mad. What do you do when all else fails. You should grind it out. Do what you can do. Act, move, persuade. The hidden thing that a christian has is the trust in God. He will make a way for you. No matter how it looks. You have to qualify for it. It’s not magic.

The Art of the Lie

 

Truth is no longer truth. Lies are no longer lies. They are just inconvenient  issues.

Bad enough that this is in the world market but even worse that this is the case in the Church.

You should not be easily deceived. You should have a clear mind. Not easily swayed by appearance, affinity, race, or any other thing. - trust in the lord with all of your heart and do not depend on your own intelligence - but ask him about every major situation that you may have and he will lead you down the correct path.

 

Nonverbal signs of deceit

Grooming gestures

This one is quite common. If a person is straightening a tie or piece of clothing, giving hair, adjusting or fiddling with something else on their body like a watch or glasses, this can be a subconscious way people are trying to hide their anxiety about a question.

Verbal/nonverbal disconnect

Nod yes but saying no to a question. Fumbling over words trying to correct it.

Behavioral pause

Asking someone if they killed somebody 12 years ago, and their is a pause, they may be showing deceit

Hand-to-face movements

If you notice a person raise their hand to their mouth, or face, lick their lips, pull on their ear or adjust their hair, this can be another sign of deceptive behavior.

 

Guarded emotive gestures

Providing long answers and directly answering a question.

 

Be truthful and kind in all that you do, and hold these virtues tightly.

 

 

You must understand that you have a bias:

Racial

Social

Environmental

Political party

Religious

Regional

Sexual

Gender

Personality

 

Know your bias because its your weakness. Understand why others do what they do so that you can empathize with them and be able to understand why they do what they do.

 

As a Christian we have an added benefit for one of the Gifts of the Spirit is the Gift of discernment deciphering-distinguishing between or among)

Fear: fear is a feeling induced by perceived danger or threat that occurs in certain types of organisms, which causes a change in metabolic and organ functions and ultimately a change in behavior, such as fleeing, hiding, or freezing from perceived traumatic events. 

White Fear/ Male Fear/ Status Fear

It seems that this fear has spread all across America. 

According to a 2018 survey from the American Psychiatric Association 40 percent of respondents report that they felt more anxious than they did a year ago. Now the fear index is sitting at 51.

Most Americans report feeling more anxious in health, safety, finances, politics, and relationships

My question is where’s the church?Certain ones who claim to be christians are too busy preaching about money

cars, sex, with kids, and making fake prophecies about the current Administration and how 45th is the god-chosen king

So much fear, supposed church members are willing to overlook a corrupt, immoral, lying leader, who endorses violence, and encourages dissention 

 

 

There One of the chief orchestrators of this fear is the Church in tandem with our Commander in Chief.

Fear has no place among church members. For we are taught in our Holy Text that our God the Christian God doesn’t give us a spirit of Fear. But he gives us a spirit of Power, Love and a Sound Mind. There is no fear in mature love. When you walk through the valley of the shadow of death you will not fear evil. - there is a simple lack of faith in God. Faith has been placed in our status, money, skin complexion, family name, country, strength, power.etc

 

Question I wonder why certain people in what we call the church are afraid? Fear originates from a supposed loss a threatening. (what have you lost? What do you fear?)

The rise of China as an economic power

Believing in the uncertainty of things. The unknown not knowing what to expect. Things have changed in our country. 

Men losing status - fear of the Me TOO Movement

Women are becoming bread winners and moving up economically even though they still don’t receive fair pay. 

The rise of Islamaphobia those from other religions and faiths continues to engulf America, and people of color are obtaining positions of authority (though not at the same rates as their lighter skinned peers).  

Fear of the foreigner - Dark complextion immigrants are continuing to arrive in our country desiring asylum and a chance at a better life.
