The Blacksmith Chronicles Podcast

In this powerful episode of The Blacksmith Chronicles Podcast, Ryan Johnson delivers a prophetic message titled "Prepare", recorded live at OpenDoor Church in Burleson, Texas. This word carries divine urgency—calling the Body of Christ to become carriers of oil rather than spectators of revival.

Drawing from Matthew 25's Parable of the Ten Virgins, Ryan challenges believers to live with both preparation and expectation, cultivating intimacy with the Holy Spirit that cannot be borrowed or manufactured. He also exposes the danger of religion without readiness and excitement without oil.

This message reminds us: the King of Glory is coming for a pure and prepared bride—one who has trimmed her wick, guarded her oil, and opened her gates for His presence. 🔥

📌 In This Episode:

• The prophetic summons to "prepare the carriers of oil"
• The cost of anointing and what true oil represents
• Why expectation without preparation leads to disappointment
• The prophetic parallel between Acts 12 and today's Church

In this hybrid episode of The Blacksmith Chronicles and The Pulse (OpenDoor Church), Ryan Johnson joins the conversation on the NYC election shock, the phrase "turn up the volume", Islam's long-game cultural strategy, and why the Church must return to governmental Ekklesia—not partisan theatrics.

Ryan unpacks his signature revelation on sonship vs. the spirit of illegitimacy, identity in Christ (son → heir → ambassador), and teases a prophetic message on being "Carriers of Oil"—where preparation and expectation meet so we move from visitation to habitation. Plus: rescue updates (quinceañera for Emma), how to partner monthly, ODX Weekend, and the premiere of The Counter.

If this convicts, equips, or encourages you, share it with a friend and drop a comment with your biggest takeaway. 🔥

What you'll learn: • Why "turn up the volume" signals more than a slogan—and how believers should respond • How sonship dismantles illegitimacy, fear of man, and performance-based identity • The difference between political posturing and governmental Ekklesia authority • Practical steps to steward oil (presence) for habitation, not just visitation • How to partner in child rescue efforts through OpenDoor Church

• Why assumptions fuel division and how to cultivate multi-ethnic unity that puts Kingdom over culture

• Smart, ethical ways to use AI for churches (content repurposing, slides/ebooks, short-form clips) as "staff for small churches"
