Today we have Derreck back once again, but this time for a very special episode. Not only are we going to have our regular Saturday State of Decay centric episode, but this time we have an amazing guest in Geoffrey Card from Undead Labs.
Geoffrey Card is a senior designer for Undead Labs (the makers of State of Decay and State of Decay 2) and is also the host of the weekly stream that Undead Labs does on their mixer and twitch channels. Derreck does a deep dive into how Geoffrey got to where he is at today with Undead Labs.
Derreck asks about Geoffrey's inspiration and early career before getting to Undead Labs. Then he talks to him about the roles he and some of his team members play in the process of creating this amazing game. In addition, Geoffrey goes into a lot of detail about the process of creating skills and traits that he does a lot of work designing. Geoffrey also talks a lot about the philosophy of Undead Labs in terms of the work environment and interaction with fans.
Then of course Derreck talks to Geoffrey a bit about the new Daybreak dlc and his role in that as well as some of his interaction with fans at PAX West who played the demo.
