The Blank Slate

In this here part one of The Blank Slate's NBA Preview, Rich, Mullet, and Tony gather together once again to try and predict what the hell is going to happen in the league this year. We focus on our ranks from 30-15 and make light of the cannon fodder along the way.

Rich was in Baltimore, MD with old friend, Bryce Zabric, and the two sat next to the fire to sift through a laundry list of memories and what exactly he's been up to for the past ten years. Bryce shares how he went from Air Force mechanic in Texas to audio engineer in Oklahoma City (working with The Flaming Lips, Sandi Patty, and more) while appearing in a couple movies in Alaska in between. There is also plenty of rehashing their delightful past of April Fools' accomplishments/failures, musical theater glory days, and the trials of being typecast.

Mullet and Rich compose a love song to their favorite fast food item, work out Season Two of True Detective, and cover everything from movies, TV, and even some (very) light reading.

Rich, Rudy, Liz and RJ recap their Fourth of July in Chicago. This episode has everything. Periscope! Cookouts! Shootings! A Zoo! And so much more!

Mullet is still on the button with Tope and the stakes are raised as the two sharks go all-in on this year's WSOP (and more poker terms). Tope was there and has tales to tell of crazy hours, expensive food and pro sightings. Shuffle up and LISTEN.

Mullet is finally ready to talk about the NBA season (including The Finals) and has brought on our Slate regulars, Tony Kolt and Tope Adebanjo to recap the season past, free agency looming, and the season to come.

Rich brings The Blank Slate's own personal Maester, Patrick Hart to delve into the nuance of Westeros and be warned... Spoilers abound. Enough talk on death, deceit, and insurgency to fill a library in Old Town! So many wild(ling) fan theories, it'll keep the Seven Kingdoms gabbing until winter comes! Predictions that will scandalize the Old Gods AND the New. Reanimate yourself for this marathon effort as we talk Game of Thrones.

Having had time to compose themselves, Rich, Mullet and Tony take their damn time discussing the whole of Mad Men. Just about everything is covered from how characters are doing after the show, best mistresses, which actors you should buy stock in, and even everyone's favorite abandoned pooch, Chauncey. Barely a stone is left unturned in this mammoth discussion.

In a very special and impromptu episode, Tope recalls as many of the cliffhangers from R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet" series as he possibly can. Mullet guides us through this amazing retrospective the world has been waiting for while Rich is kind of along for the ride.

Mullet & Rich are back in the Skyp-dle again (Weak of the Week?) to talk Furious 7, Avengers: Age of Ultron, the merits of still buying movies on disc, and which eventual remake will be less of a travesty.
