The final hour starts with the guys debating which players’ Madden ratings are too high and whose are too low. Fred is fed up with Twitter and what it’s become. They discuss the sad passing of former boxing champion Pernell Whitaker. Carlos Correa posted an odd video and could possibly be considered a weird. Would the Astros trade Correa or let him leave as a free agent? The new 007 is an African American woman. What are the best and worst Bond movies of all time? The second hour opens with some talk about the best duos in the NBA. Conference USA discussed trading teams with other conferences. Is it time for the Astros to make a move for a starting pitcher? Fred and AJ bring up the notorious Facebook group that wants to raid Area 51. They discuss a list by Yardbarker of the best NFL players under age 25. The Gem of the Day takes the guys to Spain where a woman died playing with fireworks. Manta rays are surprisingly intelligent creatures and Donald Trump’s recent statement.

The guys start the week discussing Jadevon Clowney and Clowney not reporting to training camp. The Giants have interest in Whitney Mercilus. Fred and AJ review what they did over the weekend. AJ almost got into a scuffle at his son’s baseball game. Fred recaps the World Series of Poker. They take calls about bad behavior at kids’ sporting events. The boys preview Juan Adams vs Greg Hardy. They round out the hour discussing the spat between Chris Paul and James Harden.

The guys kick off the final hour with Brad Powers to talk some gambling. The guys take a look at the upcoming odds for this NBA season and talk about just how the Rockets’ title odds increase following the trade. They discuss how the top tier of NBA teams has expanded now that Golden State is no longer the clear-cut powerhouse team. RJ Bell joins the show to continue the talk on gambling and the NBA. Fred and AJ end out the show talking about their weekend plans and the stupid things they’ve said throughout the week.

The guys kick off the second hour continuing their discussion of Russell Westbrook. They debate whether other certain players such would have been a better fit alongside Harden. Fred and AJ discuss whether the package of picks given up by Houston to acquire Westbrook will come back to haunt them. What will the Western Conference standings look like next year? Fred and AJ provide their predictions. The guys later discuss the state of the Astros’ pitching staff and challenge them to make a move to acquire another starter. The price will be high, but the Astros need to bolster their rotation.
