The second hour starts off with the guys talking about the AAF possibly folding. Then they talk about how to get out of meetings early. Finally, they do the Zadok Jeweler Gem of the Day.

The guys start the first hour off talking about Nate Oats appointment as Alabama’s college basketball head coach. Then they discuss the Oregon-Virginia matchup and what are the x-factors of the game.

On the third hour, the guys give their best Florida man stories, they also talk about MLB Free agents and the signings that the Astros have made as well.

On the second hour, the guys talk about Jusef Nurkic and his injury and how this sets up for the Rockets and their seeding, they also give their annual Gem of the day and talk about the turkey vulture that flew through the window of Stephen A. Smith.

On the first hour, the guys talk about the NCAA Tournament and Houstons chance to move on to the Elite Eight, they also talk about the possiblity of Calvin Sampson moving away from Houston as well.

To start the last hour of show the guys discuss college basketball and how the teams that are left in the tourney matchup against each other. The guys discuss how horrible their fantasy hockey season it’s been this season (except AJ who is a champion). The guys debate whether or not if Rob Gronkowski is a Hall of Famer and bring up his stats. To end the hour the guys do their Dumba**report.

To start off the second hour Fred brings up why the signing of Matt Khalil and potentially Donald Penn are upgrades compared to what the Texans had last season, and talks about a new show on Netflix he’s picked up. The guys give their output on the movie Captain Marvel and how does it relate to The Avengers. The guys do their usual Zadok Jewelers Gem of the day to end the second hour.

To kick off the first hour of The Blitz the guys discuss how their weekend were, especially AJ’s who was in Vegas. They turn their attention to how well UH played this weekend in their tourney games and what their chances are to beat Kentucky. The guys discuss the Astros recent contract extensions that are being given out and give their thoughts on it. To end the hour the guys discuss the Texans signing Matt Khalil and what it means for them.

AJ calls into the show from Vegas for the final hour, joined by RJ Bell, to discuss their NCAA Tournament bets so far, the reasons behind them, and how to scam a buffet. After the break, Fred and Barry debate the Texans and some of their recent signings as well as how things have gone this offseason. The guys finish things off with “stupid stuff” accompanied by the voice of AJ Hoffman and Sammy Sosa’s nipples.

The drug talk rolls into hour two where Fred and AJ discuss LSD and Peyote and the positive effects they might have on Fred’s writing. The guys then compare some of the ESPN 97.5 staff to characters from Game of Thrones before getting distracted by the Twin Peaks girls and being visited by David Gow. Then they visit some NFL news about expanding the automatic replay system. Fred and Barry wind things down with the gem of the day and some other wild news.
