The show kicks off with Barry Laminack of The Usual Suspects filling in for AJ who is away in Vegas and theytouch base on UH basketball and the NCAA Tournament. After the break, Fred and Barry discuss some of the problems UH is likely to face in the tournament. They spend the final segment talking about travel before educating listeners about hash and huffing paint.

To kick off the last hour of the show the guys discuss the BENZENE effect because of the chemical plant explosion and why it’s trending on twitter. Lance brings up why it will be harder for the female head coaches to earn their respect around the league. AJ Hoffman calls in from Vegas and talks about some college basketball action.

The second hour of the show continues with Lance discussing his very busy schedule and he continues to find a way to manage it. The guys discuss the Colts signing Justin Houston and what it means for them, what the difference is between cap space and cash flow. The guys talk about what are the chances of Rockets knocking off the Warriors this postseason if they do. The guys turn their attention to Lance’s mock draft 2.0 report and to look expect from teams. The guys do the usual Zadok Jewelers Gem of the day.

The first hour of the Blitz starts off with Lance Zierlein showing up to the wrong Twin Peaks (who is filling in for AJ). While lance finds his way to the correct location, Barry fills in for him and the guys discuss how they got into the radio business. Fred discusses how he used to live in his car and why Barry is on the same path as Fred. Lance finally shows up to the location and describes how crazy his work schedule become since joining NFL Network.

The final hour kicks off with the guys discussing how the sports journalism world has changed. Then AJ joins the show live from Vegas.

The second hour starts off with how bad Fred looked on TV. They also talk about playing gay basketball in Dallas. Then they discuss AJ McCarron signing with the Texans. They conclude the hour with the Zadok Gem of the Day.

The guys start the hour off with the What Are the Odds Wednesday. They also discuss the Robert Kraft issue and what do they teach you in a prostitution class? Then they talk about Alex Bregman’s contract extension.

Fred and AJ get the final hour of the show going with a Blitz Rewind! The guys talk about some of the lines coming out for next year’s college football season based on what the media has decided may be game of the year contenders. Then it’s all college basketball going down the stretch as AJ breaks down matchups and throws out some gambling advice for March Madness. The guys close on some local stories and updates from the great Deer park fire!

The guys breeze through the second hour with some NCAA basketball talk including a look at many of the matchups. Then Houston Chronicle columnist Jerome Solomen joins the guys to grace them with his opinions on all things sports.

The guys get the first hour of the show rolling by discussing the immense deal that Mike Trout signed with the Angels making him not only the highest paid player in baseball but a top athlete contract wise across the board. The guys try to fill out their own personal top five’s in terms of starting pitchers in the modern era, and the guys touch on Steven A making a mistake when doing a sports hit as they wrap up on a conversation about being spread too thin.
