So often, it is hard for us to understand what God is doing or how God is going to use a circumstance or situation, especially when our lives are messy. This is why faith can be so fuzzy sometimes – difficult to perceive clearly. It’s our job to take steps of faith and those steps are probably going to be vague and unclear … BUT God is always within and on the other side of faith! It might be fuzzy, but God is faithful!

If the cross happened without a resurrection, it would be a sad story. Yet, because the resurrection took place, all access to all of everything good in heaven is available for the believer. When you think about it, it’s nonsense, it’s insane to think that the God of the universe would take our punishment upon Himself and pay all our debt, our sin, simply because He loves us. Yet, Jesus paid it all and I don’t have to worry that my debt is paid and I’m granted access into the Kingdom. That’s why Easter is a lifestyle, not an event.

As Christians, one of our aims is to be like Jesus. Our Heavenly Father gave us Jesus, our savior. And Jesus was so generous with His life that He endured the cross and counted it JOY for our sake. When it comes to the giving of our resources, we should joyfully release it, even when it hurts. The Lord LOVES and is PLEASED with a cheerful giver!
