I’m talking about creating a culture of honor. I don’t believe it is possible to bridge the divide and heal our divisions without honoring one another first. And because we are BLUE, BLACK, WHITE, BROWN, and EVERYTHING in between --- we must honor so that we can achieve unity amidst our diversity.

Because God is love, He is a communicator. In fact, God is always communicating with us. But are we tuned in to His frequency? I like to think of His communication with man like a radio station or a TV show. So the question this morning is, “Are you tuned in to God’s channel?”

Tonight is not a debate. Tonight is not an opportunity to be angry with our panel or take sides. Tonight, is simply about perspective. It is possible I won’t agree with everything that is said and neither will you. So much of this stuff, at times, is grey. The goal and purpose is to become GREAT listeners and ask the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth.

Dave Ramsey says, “If you will live like no one else, later you can live like no one else.” Life is an investment and God has called us to invest ALL of our lives back into His Kingdom. Ultimately, everything belongs to God and is lent to us. And as followers of God, we have a responsibility to multiply what He’s given us, but this is impossible if we function outside of our 100%.
