In life, you and I will come across people who may mistreat you, act out of line, and or abuse their position of power/relationship. Does this mean that if our leaders, bosses, or people go low we go lower? Of course not! Christ has called us to an example that is counter-cultural and the switch is to honor those in your life even if they seem like an enemy.

We are living in the age of perpetual offense, where we're quick to judge, quick to criticize, quick to condemn, and quick to cancel anyone who offends us. Politics, music, news, social media … cynicism, complaining, disrespect, backbiting. Tearing down. Cancel culture. Critical culture. Division everywhere. People just going-off on each other about anything and everything. And Christians are not immune, they often jump on the bandwagon of dishonor and are hard to distinguish from non-Christians. Don’t let that be you, honor God with your life and you will be blessed. For honor is the timeless and sacred key to God’s favor.

So often, it is hard for us to understand what God is doing or how God is going to use a circumstance or situation, especially when our lives are messy. This is why faith can be so fuzzy sometimes – difficult to perceive clearly. It’s our job to take steps of faith and those steps are probably going to be vague and unclear … BUT God is always within and on the other side of faith! It might be fuzzy, but God is faithful!
