Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines have a big challenge ahead of them this weekend against Mel Tucker and the Michigan State Spartans, but they also will be hosting a ton of top targets on the recruiting trail. No visitor will be as important as 2024 five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis, who is back in Ann Arbor for the first time since September when J.J. McCarthy and Michigan lit up the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors under the lights.

Michigan has lost only one regular season game since the start of the 2021 season. 19-1 in that span. The lone loss came in East Lansing Halloween weekend a year ago. The Michigan Wolverines are on bye this week, but there is still a pretty good slate of college football on this weekend from noon until night.

It all starts at noon with the Iowa Hawkeyes traveling to Columbus to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. The last time these two programs met up, the game was at Iowa and the Hawkeyes stunned the college football landscape by not only covering, but by beating the Buckeyes. Will that happen again?

The Michigan Wolverines hosted a plethora of top recruits this past weekend for their Maize Out victory over the Penn State Nittany Lions, including a couple guys that were not anticipated to be in attendance.

2023 four-star wide receiver Karmello English was once an Auburn commit, but backed off that pledge recently and attended the Michigan game over the weekend. He is now reportedly planning another visit to Ann Arbor for later this season. Meanwhile, 2024 four-star in-state defensive lineman Brandon Davis-Swain — a Notre Dame commit — just took his second trip to Michigan of the season.
