  • 2016 NBA Finals Champion Cleveland Cavaliers 10 Years Later- Game 2
Welcome to our 7 episode series revisiting the 2016 NBA Finals 10 years later. We do a deep dive into each game and celebrate the most unlikely comeback in NBA history. The Cleveand Cavaliers won the NBA championship! Cleveland, this is for you!

Game 2 was possibly the lowest moment of the NBA Finals for the Cavs, losing 110-77 to go down 2-0 in the series. The game was still in striking distance early in the third quarter before the Warriors ended up outscoring the Cavs by 25 in the second half. Draymond Green was the star for the Warriors while Lebron James and Kyrie Irving both had their lowest point totals of the finals. To make matters worse Kevin Love suffered a concussion, leaving his availability for the rest of the series in doubt.

Thanks for listening to our 2016 NBA Finals revisited series. We will be back with regular epsiodes when the season resumes after the All Star break. As always, Go Cavs! #Cavs #Cleveland #LebronJames #NBAChamps #Warriors #StephCurry #NBA

Welcome to our 7 episode series revisiting the 2016 NBA Finals 10 years later. We do a deep dive into each game and celebrate the most unlikely comeback in NBA history. The Cleveand Cavaliers won the NBA championship! Cleveland, this is for you!

Zach Weiss from Across the Cavs is our guest for competitive but ultimately disappointed Game 1. We discuss the ways the Warriors were able to neutralize Lebron James as much as humanly possible and how they won by double digits despite Steph Curry and Klay Thompson only combining for 20 points.

  • Cavs Are Winning Games and Making Trades, Bye Lonzo!
The NBA trade deadline has come and gone while the Cleveland Cavaliers were one of the most active teams. We briefly touch on the acquistions of Dennis Schroeder, Keon Ellis, and James Harden as well as the salary dump of Lonzo Ball. We also look back at a few of our predicitions for what the Cavs would do.

While the entire NBA was making trades the Cavs also won two games on their West Coast trip. They handled Portland 130-111 behind the best game of Jarrett Allen's career (40 points and 17 rebounds). They also manhandled the LA Clippers 124-91 in the Cavs debut of Schroeder and Ellis.

Our next epsiode will be Sunday to recap the upcoming game against the Sacramento Kings and discuss the last stretch before the All Star Break. Thanks for joining and, as always, Go Cavs! #Cavs #TrailBlazers #Clippers #Kings #NBA #NBAtradedeadline

  • TRADE ALERT! Dennis Schroeder, Keon Ellis are IN, De_Andre Hunter is OUT for the Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers made their first big move of the trade deadline, sending De'Andre Hunter to the Sacramento Kings for Dennis Schroeder and Keon Ellis. Schroeder offers the Cavs Darius Garland insurance as well as the ability to manage Donovan Mitchell's minutes down the stretch as he has been heavily relied on all season. Ellis is a near elite 3 and D player who profiles as a key rotation player off the bench.
Hunter was a source of frustration with Cavs fans, seemingly the perfect SF compliment to the Core 4 but never quite giving the team what they needed from him. This season was especially disappointing as Hunter is having his least efficient ofensive season of his career.
The Cavs will be looking to make more moves by Thursdays trade deadline. They also have a game tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers. We will be back on Thursday unless there is another trade that brings us back sooner. Thanks for joining and, as always, GO CAVS! #Cavs #Cleveland #Kings #NBA

  • Are the Cavs Quietly Making a RUN UP The Eastern Conference Standings?
Very quietly the Cavs have been moving up the Eastern Conference standings, now sitting solidly in 5th but only 2 games out the the #2 seed. This is because the Cavs have won 10 of the their last 14 games, including two wins on a back to back this weekenf against the Sacromento Kings (123-118) and the Orlando Magic (119-105).

Donovan Mitchell regained his shooting stroke this weekend with 33 and 36 points in the two wins. Evan Mobley continues to ascend despite continuing to struggle with his 3-point shoot. And Jaylon Tyson is someone still ascending and may soon graduate from the title role player.

We will be back on Wednesday night immediately following the Cavs game against Lebron James and the Los Angelos Lakers. Thanks for joining us and, as always, Go Cavs! #Cavs #Cleveland #Kings #Magic #NBA
